I mentioned "Jamaica Eats" magazine before on here. They had a whole story on this an issue or two back.

I don't know....I think it would be pretty expensive. So much cheaper to just have Andre cook it from scratch.

I would store them for days when we don't feel like cooking

I saw them on the shelf in Hi-Lo supermarket in Spanish Town and was really amazed at how they are getting JA meals into the freezer. Families are now not having enough time to prepare those time consuming meals. It is a good idea but I have not tried it. At the time It seemed senseless to do so as Mike or myself was able to prepare our meals. I might consider it though, just to try it and if it is not too costly. I just wonder, though, how the taste would vary. I really do not like leftovers nor do I like reheated food. Hense my trepidition(?):unsure:

You can add him to your car insurance and it won't go up. If you get two cars put them both in your name its cheaper.

Really? When I added my husband to our car insurance it went up because he was a new driver here in the states, at least with Geico, that is, they would not let me insure two cars on one drivers license, at least that's what the lady told me.

Country Companies let me insure both cars in my name. We bought him a brand new car and his car is cheaper than mine. I am also 8 years older than him so next year it will go down even more.

The Secret to a Long and Happy Marriage

A Jamaican couple was celebrating their golden wedding anniversary on the beach in Montego Bay. Their domestic tranquility had long been the talk of the town. "What a peaceful & loving couple". A local newspaper reporter was inquiring as to the secret of their long and happy marriage.

"Well, it dates back to our honeymoon in America," explained the man. "We visited the Grand Canyon in Arizona and took a trip down to the bottom of the canyon by horse. We hadn't gone too far when my wife's horse stumbled and she almost fell off. My wife looked down at the horse and quietly said, ‘That's once.'

We proceeded a little further and the horse stumbled again, this time causing her to drop her water. Once more my wife quietly said, 'That's twice'.

"We hadn't gone a half-mile when the horse stumbled for a third time. My wife quietly removed a revolver from her purse and shot the horse dead.

I shouted at her, "Is wa do yu gyal, why u lick shot affa da poor animal like dat, yu mad?” “How we get around now?” Then she looked at me, and quietly said, 'That's once'.

"And from that moment we have lived happily ever after."

I saw that she was on here on Sunday and I'm sure she saw that a lot of people feel that way.

I wish her luck in any way she goes and I pray the road is not too bumpy.

I am sorry to hear that Shauna (L) You know what is best for you and you need to take care of yourself and that baby first and foremost.

The bolded part above...I don't know how many times I have said that. Best of friends but when it comes to a marriage...just isn't working.

You know how to reach me if you need to talk...Much Love (L)
