oh it feels so nice not to be glued to a toilet this morning....i got so sick last night and thank god it stopped or else i think i would have been going to the hospital it was that bad...i think it was what i had for breakfast because that was the only thing i ate all day because i just didn't feel right....you would think my husband would be caring enough to make sure i was ok....NOPE....as soon as we got home(i got sick again before we made it inside) he ran to the computer and had to check his myspace account....then off he went to bed....cham was the only one who stayed with me...and the same thing this morning...he complained that we didn't have any sex last night....uuummmm  he just shows his true colors more and more everyday....

Oh, girl. I'm sorry.

Shaunna I am sorry to hear that you are still not feeling well and Mike is not helping. Stay strong girl. It should get better in a week or two. I was having morning sickness twice a day. Knock on wood this week has been the first week that I felt okay. I am now official in my second trimester and feeling better. When I was sick I made my hubby get me water and 7-up and put it next to my bed. I trained him well. Shauna I hope Mike turns around and is a little more respectful. God Bless and may the future be brighter!!! :luv:

Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred.

The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was transferred and is now pending standard processing at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you.

does this mean we are still in cali or were we transfered out?

Your case should be here in Cali... Sounds like your green card soon come

Congrats Pam!!!

so..noone knows about the tax stuff?? hmm.. I will check and see what I can find out and then let you know!

Hey guys!

I just wanted to add (but I am thinking most of you probably already know this) for those of you doing the K-3 or CR-1 that you can get your husband added to your car insurance as a non-driver for more documentation and the rate shouldnt go up (if anything go down b/c now you are married!).

I also have a question. How are you going to file your taxes at the end of this year as far as filing status. I would think married filing separately but like the additional income would be zero..right?

:)

You can add him to your car insurance and it won't go up. If you get two cars put them both in your name its cheaper.

We filed our taxes last year jointly. I got a thousand dollars for him filling together which helped out greatly with all the expenses of the journey. File jointly!! If you have any more questions ask or pm me.

You can ask Melwin (Jax) this info although he just got here this summer? I don't think any of CR1's or K3 men have been here long enough to know much about the tax info. If you do it through a K3 or CR1 there are more steps to follow. I also think that nyseness (Anna) knows this info too. You can try PMing one of them.

If it's a k1, we filed jointly....because he was here last year. We'll be obviously doing the same thing next year.

Hope that helps....

If he is not here yet you need to fill out the ITTIN form. You will need his passport up here with you. You will need to make a copy of it and get it notarized and send it in. If you know a notary in your state then all you need is a copy of the passport. I knew a notary so all I made is a copy. Or if he is coming up here sometime next year you can also file an extension on your taxes and wait until he gets here. I had to file an extension cause I found out about getting my ITTIN to late. But it is well worth the extra cash.

Good Morning All,

David arrived in Atlanta, GA on time Friday evening :dance: . He stated the POE was a breeze. Everyone was very nice and welcomed him to the USA. We had very quiet and peaceful weekend. I am working from home this week just to help out in his transition to living here. He really wants his SSC to get here so he can start applying for jobs but otherwise he seem to be okay and not missing Jamaica too much. It really helps that he has several really good friends in the Atlanta area. A couple of them lives in our same area. Now that my baby is here I know I will not have time to visit the site as much but if any one feels I can assist in any way;please PM or email me. Again thanks for all the support and info. Also wishing all pending cases a speedy process.

Jenice

Congrats and all the best with your guys new journey!!

I'm online. Just a few more interesting developments on other sites and even a few other threads on here.

What's happening? Any fun weekend plans, ladies?

I'm meeting 13 or so other people from VJ. It's a IL/MO gathering in St. Louis on Saturday night. No yardies that I know of. I'm kindof excited. I've been to a few other gatherings of JA peeps from another web site and all 3 of them were really fun and yielded some really good friends of mine. And, these people have been scattered all over the US and Canada. This one is pretty much we know not one of these people and I have chatted with most just a teeny little bit online. Should be fun and interesting.

Other then that, I work all weekend.

Oh my girl have fun!!

Nothing much here I have a music festival tommorrow and going to see the ice hogs hockey team on Saturday night.

Did anyone take their SO out tricker treating on Halloween. My hubby and I went with our neighbor and two friends. He had lots of fun and thought it was so cool how u could knock on peoples door and get candy. I am afraid he is going to take the baby next year to get candy for himself LOL. I have to say things are great since he got here and always get a little better each day  . I just wanted to add that because a lot of times I read how things aren't going the best with some couples. I just want to leave positive vibes. To those having struggles may tomorrow be a new and bright day )!!

One more thing my hubby is crazy he doesn't want me to turn on the heat yet LOL. He is saying he will be wearing shorts when it snows. He is cracking me up. Its November and my heat is not on  . I will wait one more week then I am going to cave in.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!!!!
