Mi Rolex

A Jamaican driving in his brand new BMW Z8 pulls over to take a leak. A truck speeding down the street crashes into his door just as he`s about to come out of his car, sending it flying off the hinges. Enraged, he uses his cell phone to call 911.

When the police arrives he explains what happened: "Star, di man jus come lick off de door a mi bimmer!! Mi car write off to rass!!"

The police, after surveying the scene shakes his head in amazement and says, "You Jamaicans are so materialistic. You`re so into the damage of your car door, that you didn`t even realize that your hand is still attached to it!!"

The guy, finally realizing this, looks at his amputated hand and screams out , "Bloodclaat!! Mi rolex!!!"

That's so funny :lol::lol::lol::lol:

Sorry he isn't being very supportive (F) Glad you are feeling better...the peppermint tea is a great suggestion. I know some pregnant women swear by something called Sea Bands as well to curb the sickness. I hope you can find something that helps you.

Good morning Yardie family :)

I am here...bored as well! It sure has been slow in here...today and yesterday.

Sorry ladies. I'm posting now.

ClassyChic I'm sorry things didn't work out, but I'm happy that you made the best decision for you. ((((((Classy))))))

Nannygirl, I know the feeling of being stuck to the toilet. I was too the entire pregnancy, actually any available receptacle. I'm sorry that Mike is not being more supportive to you. You shouldn't have to deal with being sick and troubles in your marriage too. Try to take it easy for you and the baby, and let God take care of everything else. ((((Nanny)))))

I'm online. Just a few more interesting developments on other sites and even a few other threads on here.

What's happening? Any fun weekend plans, ladies?

I'm meeting 13 or so other people from VJ. It's a IL/MO gathering in St. Louis on Saturday night. No yardies that I know of. I'm kindof excited. I've been to a few other gatherings of JA peeps from another web site and all 3 of them were really fun and yielded some really good friends of mine. And, these people have been scattered all over the US and Canada. This one is pretty much we know not one of these people and I have chatted with most just a teeny little bit online. Should be fun and interesting.

Other then that, I work all weekend.

JG~ That should be awesome! I hope they have one around here one day.

No major weekend plans. At a local church they are having a craft fair with crafts from all over the world. It is part of a fair trade type thing so that people in 3rd world countries actually get a fair price for their works and can support themselves a little better. It is pretty awesome to see all the amazing handmade crafts from all over and know that when you buy something you are supporting someone who really needs it.

Other than that...cleaning and grocery shopping :dead:

If they do, you should definately do it. I've met 2 people who came here to see me, 3 people in Chicago last year (one girl from this Yardie thread), and 2 people in Washington, D.C. earlier this year. They always turn out to be really fun.

Would you think I'm crazy if I said I wished I had time to clean and grocery shop this weekend? I have 50 more days before I quit job #2 and have my weekends back. I cannot wait.

Glad you get to quit your second job soon!

I won't think you are crazy as long as you don't think I am crazy in saying that I wish I had a second job to work this weekend. I hope to take on a second job, just for a bit, after the holidays/winter. I don't know what type of work yet but something...

Kimmy~ Talk with the MIL :dead: Good luck!
