Good Morning All,

David arrived in Atlanta, GA on time Friday evening :dance::dance: . He stated the POE was a breeze. Everyone was very nice and welcomed him to the USA. We had very quiet and peaceful weekend. I am working from home this week just to help out in his transition to living here. He really wants his SSC to get here so he can start applying for jobs but otherwise he seem to be okay and not missing Jamaica too much. It really helps that he has several really good friends in the Atlanta area. A couple of them lives in our same area. Now that my baby is here I know I will not have time to visit the site as much but if any one feels I can assist in any way;please PM or email me. Again thanks for all the support and info. Also wishing all pending cases a speedy process.

Jenice

Good Morning my VJ family;

Happy Monday to you all. Here is my input for now, a little joke about marriage.

:lol::lol::lol:

Yeah?" she replies. "When you die, I'm getting you a headstone

that reads, 'Here Lies My Husband -- Stiff At Last'!"

She says, "I was in bed."

"In bed this early, doing what?"

"Getting a second opinion."

His new bride said:

"No, that's fine with me. Just understand that there will be sex

here at seven o'clock every night...whether you're here or not."

so..noone knows about the tax stuff?? hmm.. I will check and see what I can find out and then let you know!

Hey guys!

I just wanted to add (but I am thinking most of you probably already know this) for those of you doing the K-3 or CR-1 that you can get your husband added to your car insurance as a non-driver for more documentation and the rate shouldnt go up (if anything go down b/c now you are married!).

I also have a question. How are you going to file your taxes at the end of this year as far as filing status. I would think married filing separately but like the additional income would be zero..right?

:)

You can ask Melwin (Jax) this info although he just got here this summer? I don't think any of CR1's or K3 men have been here long enough to know much about the tax info. If you do it through a K3 or CR1 there are more steps to follow. I also think that nyseness (Anna) knows this info too. You can try PMing one of them.

If it's a k1, we filed jointly....because he was here last year. We'll be obviously doing the same thing next year.

Hope that helps....

Just thought I would pop in and say hello.

All is well, I have a friend who has three vehicles and she has let me and Marlon borrow her truck until we get a car so I am truly blessed!

Today I am a little bummed, it's been a year since my mom passed away. I am going to my sister's house after work to cry, talk about mom, and light some candles.

Hope everyone is having a great day!

I'm so sorry to hear that NM. I'm sure the saying that time heals all wounds doesn't not apply in this situation. I hope Marlon wraps his arms around you, and gives you all the love and comfort you need right now. God bless!

They will need a visitor's visa unless they were included in the K3.

thanks for replying, i went on the governments website, they were included on the k-3, but once he adjusts status and becomes a permanent resident, we can no longer do the k-4 but would need to file a i-130 *sigh*
