Morning everyone!

This is TOTALLY but I'm glad.

I just read this in the Gleaner. It's really sad but just another realization that you don't know if you will be alive to see tomorrow. Since the school year started last month, four students have passed away and thats just on MY college's campus. I give God the blessings for allowing me (along with you and the rest of the world) the opportunity of seeing a new day

Oh, and can everyone refrain from comments like "you're too stupid to understand" and "you need to get a life". It is possible to state your opinion without putting directly putting someone down.

Just a question for you ladies (and gents)...I like to plan ahead and am thinking of what to get my SO for Christmas. I'm a BIG black Friday shopper so I want to get his gift then while prices are good. Anybody want to share what you plan on getting your SO or what you've got them in the past? And what they got you?

I'm a crazy black friday shopper too! I got my man a digital camera last year and he loved it! He was able to take pics daily and email them to me. he also was able to shoot short video of himself all over town. It was nice! we called them video diaries. I would suggest getting a 1G jump drive to go with it and a 1G flash card for the camera so he can store bigger and better quality photos.

What hotel is closest to the embasssy, and is clean and cheap. Whats up with Christar Villas how far is that away does anyone know....

uumm not sure where the embassy is at...but when we has our interview we stayed at The Knutsford Court Hotel....it was nice clean and pretty cheap....

I kept hearing about this hotel on the TV when I was in JA. Digicel or somebody was holding a sweepstakes or something to win a weekend trip there, so they kept featuring it. It looked like a nice spot.

Question- My hubby is missing cornmeal porridge. Does anyone know how to make it or have a reciepe? Thanks

LOL! This makes me laugh and takes me back. I had an ex who was adamant about making me this cornmeal porridge. I had no idea what it was but it seemed to take forever for him to cook. He's calling his mom and dad to get the receipe and I'm just waiting.....

When he finally gets done, and I am starving, he gives me the bowl. I look at it an am like "hmmmm". I taste it and I'm like...."what the heck! This is basically cream of wheat just made with cornmeal!! Why did it take so long to make!?" So I say you can find a receipe online. To me it wasnt nothing special cause I been making my cream of wheat like that for years now. LOL!

Girl you ain't the only one bored! Its my birthday and I'm here online. How sad is that! I tried that IDT thing but they havent called to verify me yet. How long does it take? I was hoping to call my man with it tonight.

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!! ok normally when i buy them if i buy it now the will call first thing in the morning like maybe 8 or 9 Eastern Standard time they are in england so its like 5 hours later there now. They call from a weird number and normally i dont even answer restricted or odd numbers but they may call u but if they dont you can call them....if u need that number ill get it for u.

Thanks for all the great gift ideas! Technology is ALWAYS a good choice when it comes to men. I'm gonna try to check out a digital camera during black Friday and possibly an mp3 player.
