I think I am headed to Las Vegas next to meet some peeps.

What a great city for a bashment  **hint hint***

I know we have all talked about it a MILLION times but we really need to do it sometime in the next decade  a bashment that is...

I'm going there to meet a few people off the ETJ website (Jilly if you are being nosy....Luv, Spice, and Swell).

It's how I met Jilly and another gal and guy from ETJ.

When (and if) I go, I'll put out a post and see if anyone is going to be around. It's how we seem to link up.

Girl....you know Im lurking! When? Who? Where? Details please!!

We are looking at the last week in June. Probably the 28th-the 2nd or something. Our anniversary and Andre's birthday is June 29th. Luv works at Ballys & Paris so as soon as we get plane tickets, she will hook us up with room deals. Spice lives a short drive from there. And, Swell is talking about flying from Canada. Oh, yah, and Dudley will be there in LV by then. However, we are having a bit of an issue of coming up with money and the plane tickets are a little high right now. Still waiting for a deal. (And, listening to the radio....I am trying to win a trip on a local radio station). Anyhow, nothing is set yet. I'll let you know when (and like I said IF) we every set anything.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

Just because something you say is “negative” doesn’t mean it has to be said b!tchy, condesending, mean, cruel, judgemental, hurtful, offensive, demeaning, degrading, rude, mean-spirited, aggressive, destructive, detrimental, distressing, harmful, malicious, spiteful, hateful, unkind, upsetting, wounding, antagonistic, bad-natured, petty, vengeful, venomous, vicious, insulting, insinuating, wicked or evil.

Plenty of things can be said that are “negative” in a much nicer, helpful, friendly, affirming, life giving way.

Back in the day we all sure as hell didn’t agree on everything and we all didn’t see eye to eye but we were family and best of friends. We had each others back through EVERYTHING. We were out to be helpful and supportive. Lets get back to that.

Realize that this visajourney is emotional and frustrating and all those other emotions. There will be ups and downs and success and failures and of course numerous challenges. I know that I have said many a thing out of pure adrenalin and emotions. I probably didn’t say it “politically correct” and nice and rosy, I didn't think of how every single person could interpret it or misconstrue what I was saying. I just spoke from emotions and from the heart. That is how friends and family work. No need to be PC or censor your true feelings.

Please everyone lets just be respectful. Remember also that to some this is nothing more than a forum to ask visa questions but too others it is a lifeline of support and a group of family. It means a lot to some people and we would like it to continue (and get back to) a place where people can feel SAFE and LOVED.

I know I know....I love you all too. i haven't forgotten about you..it's just been a year of changes....big changes. Don't worry Ricardo and I are doing great!!!!! We will be married 4 years in August( man time flies by)We will be moving into our first house on May 1st! The boys are 2 and my little Makayla is 7 months now. I will put a picture when I get the chance. I went back to work FULL TIME in February. So I am crazy busy!!! Having 2, two year odls and a 7 month old is a trip!!! I also work about 1 1/2 away from home and anyone that know L. A. traffic know that's nothing nice. I loved being home but I really needed more of a balance. God really blessed me with a job that I love. I am the executive administrator to education for Junior Achievement of Southern California. It's awesome and I know this is were God wants me. I can even appreciate my kids more because I am not around them 24hrs a day! It's also cool because since we have been use to living off 1 income, now that I am working it's like we won the Lottery!!!! Now that I have adjusted more to the work load i will be able to chat a more.

..I've been reading the past couple of days and things have been interesting I see....for good and bad. Not that I'm an expert but I do feel like a a veteran of some sort ( is anyone over 4 years married yet?)...if nothing else I know I've got the most kids by my Jamaican love!!!! If anyone has any questions( I'm being serious now) I will be happy to share our story and my experiences. I will say this, God may not save you from the fire but he will preserve you while in it! And when you come out...You Won't Even Smell Like Smoke! I'm a living witness. Holla!!!!!

Finally got the RFE for the vaccination supplement. It only took them 2 plus months to notice it. Sent if overnight yesterday so they will get it today. Now we will see how long it takes. Still no movement on the EAD.

It is nice to see the positive vibe coming back to this thread. My thoughts and prayers are always with everyone going through the good and the no so good times. Hang in there!

Darlene- You hang in there too!! Things are moving :)
