nope it must be a great show u guys mentioned it several times im have to add that to the list of tivo shows my fav is greys anatomy and they have a spinoff starting from that on Wed called private practice, taye diggs is in , all his tv shows seem to get canceled!

LOL ...you are too Funny, JA! But it's true Taye does seem to be the kiss of death to tv series. I like Grey's Anatomy too. But I haven't been keeping up on it lately...you know the deal..too busy working and we don't have tivo out here yet

The Heroes symbol... started with the Kensei (Japanese story) and means the evolution of beings into 'Heroes' the full extent of the symbol has not been revealed completely yet.

The little girl is not the cops daughter. She was found and protected by the cop and Mohinder Suresh (Professor's son), because she has the ability to track down all other 'Heroes' wherever they maybe in the world. So, it looks like the symbol is going to play a big part in this season.

I am very excited about it...it looks as if the second season is going to be just as good as the first!

Yeah Nan, for those two that's exactly what it meant. I think because it was in red...but then again I could be wrong. Which is what I love about the show...it keeps you guessing!

Now, on to my crazy husband...........We spent yesterday together shopping, a movie, dinner. So, we go into this gigantic sporting goods store called Cabela's. As we are checking out, Andre says "when we are ready to buy a house, I want one with a big fire place and I want to put one of those above it." He points to these huge deer, boar, and bear heads mounted all over the walls. I'm like are you crazy???????? I am not having some beedy eyed dead animal staring at me all the time. No freakin' way! He says, "I've always wanted one of those". I'm like "you didnt' even have heat in Jamaican, let alone a fire place. How could you want one of those?????"

Do pre-existing medical conditions follow from Jamaica to the US? A's daughter is currently hospitalized and may have a heart condition. We want to bring her here...but I'm afraid that she will not be able to be covered under my medical coverage if they find out she already had the heart condition. Do you have any idea on whether the medical exam in Kingston for the visa will include this info?

Andre has sickle cell. He actually had an episode before I even looked into insurance for him. We spent the entire day in the ER. It has not hampered any coverage for him. My insurance coverage backdated to the date of our wedding.

I'm not worried about it the medical coverage anymore...I'm just hoping he can manage to convince mommy that the benefits for their daughters will make it worthwhile. I'm not trying to replace her in their lives...but I don't think baby A will get the proper medical help because mommy may fret about not having the $$$ to take her. Also, I can't fake the funk like I'm a cash cow with the ability to send money come every time she has an episode with her heart. I am worried sick about her from here...so I can only imagine how he will be if he leaves her behind.

ROTFDWL....too funny!!!! My ex wanted to paint my living walls in rasta colors..one color for each wall. He had the nerve to say that we could make it real soft and pretty...not so brite brite. HUH??? I took him the garage and said "here is your open canvas...do as you please." He settled on painting the kids rooms (in colors that picked out)...LOL

Wow, sorry to hear about the sickle cell. I know it is even more of a blessing to have him here with the medical attention that he needs. I hate to even think of people with ongoing medical conditions living in JA with how thier system is. Glad your insurance was able to make the adjustment on the dates. I didn't even know that pre existing conditions still posed a problem but I guess with all the different types of medical coverages there are those who do the minimal.

Don't quote me..but congenital diseases cannot be classified as pre-existing because you were not "fine" before birth. If so then ppl with heart problems would get no coverage..i should say congenital heart problems. That's why some cancers are classied as pre-existing..gosh I hope I remember correctly.

That's also why the sickle wouldn't have posed a problem. Some cancer patients can't even get coverage and when they do they pay a arm and a leg...ridiculous
