Happy belated birthday to Rhonda and congrats on the new house!

Good luck and safe trips to those upcoming interviewees!

And for whoever else I missed sorry, had too many pages to read! lol

Thanks for the well wishes on my upcoming wedding, we have been so busy trying to plan it as well as finding someone to braid Marlon's hair inexpensively! We got our wedding license yesterday. Now we are waiting for the Bishop my friend contacted to get back to us. We are hoping for October 13.

Marlon is adjusting very well, no issues at all. He eats about everything without a complaint, he just tells me if it is something he doesn't prefer. He has met most of my closest friends and my sister and niece, so far all is well! Marlon is the quiet type surrounded by noisy and crazy people but he takes it well! lol

I can bet how excited you are. Enjoy the planning and I pray you have a wonderful day. Don't let it stress you out too much, it's the marriage that counts

I keep telling myself that girl! lol Thankfully I have some super friends who are carrying parts of the load for me!

You'll be fine...when you're looking into his eyes and say I do, that's when you see that it was all worth it in the end. I can't tell you how much TRYING to get married stressed me and we got married in our pastor's office :lol:

Thanks Tam-Tam,

I asked Ken last night and got WAY MORE INFO than I needed! He told me if you catch 1 or 2 and put them in a bottle of rum it's good fi any ache and pain yuh 'ave. I was oh hell no are we gonna have a damn 40-leg in a bottle sitting up in my medicine cabinet!!! Then 'im tell mi "Nuf remedy mi 'ave Mon!!":no::lol:

:lol::lol: Wi hav di remedy fi everyting...My sister throws rubbing alcohol in her head whenever she has a headache. For a cold - lime and honey wid a likkle white rum.

The last 2 trips I made I brought back 4 cans each...then after that a friend went and kevin sent a "special package" back for me...here I go thinking it would be a nice card or letter from him...NOPE...a couple cans of ackee! also...because he knows I love candles he sent me a glade airfreshener candle....(bless his heart) I can't wait till he gets here to see WE HAVE THEM HERE!!! lol.........

That is too cute...I remember a few years ago when I went home for vacation, hubby lit a Glade candle so that we could have dinner by candle light :lol: They are so sweet and rose-mantic.

:lol::lol: -Tam, you are too Dyam funny!

p.s.- Yuh ready fi your trip? When yuh leave again?

What do you think about this :( I got a reply from Scotland police today saying chris police report was mailed out sept 12 but it has not arrive but when the lady said the SCOTTISH reply was sent that date i was like hmmm wait i thought she said her check includes both England and Scotland!!! So i write her back and she says well they send it over to England too so i called England and how about they say they do not have him in their computer NOWHERE anyways they are checking on it with scotland. My question is , he was only there for 3 months so maybe i dont have to worry abt England???? He was in Scotland right after England for a few years. Next worry or concern is that he was over there this entire time on a passport!!! back in 2002 i do believe i have to check the forms Do you think this will at all come up in the interview or cause a problem :help:

rHONDA HAVE u been putting ur knees over a bolster, pillow or ottoman or something like that when ur lying down..that reduces the amount of pressure on ur low back alot. U can also do ur Kegel exercises and pelvic tilts to decrease the pain...

All you mommies out there - do you have any solutions for lower back pain? I'm dying over here :crying: Any tips, advice, solutions, remedies would be helpful.....

Yeah, I use a pillow when I'm sleeping. My back doesn't hurt when I'm lying down. It mostly hurts at work where I'm sitting or walking or standing. I do Kegels, but they don't really affect my back!! I don't think one has anything to do with the other. But they're good to do for other reasons

This made me so sad. Andre cooks nearly every night. If I cook more then twice a month, I am complaining.

Consider yourself lucky  Tony doesn't get home from work most nights until 6 or 7pm. By the time he showers and gets ready to cook, it's getting late. I usually like to eat around 6 or 7 - if he started cooking that late, we wouldn't eat til 9. Not to mention, he's dead tired on most days and doesn't feel like cooking. Needless to say, we go out a lot or get carry-out :innocent:

I had absolutely horrible lower back pains starting my 4th month and lasted up to birth-day. I just tried a ton of stretching exercises. Now my lower back hurts from other stuff....but I bought this orthopedic/contour pillow thing from Linens and things that goes between the legs (upper thigh area). It has done WONDERS!!!!!! I sleep with it every night...and my back pain is totally gone!!!

I use a regular, small pillow between my knees - been doing that ever since my knee surgeries. I wonder if the one you're talking about it much better? I may have to check it out. Thanks
