After all the talks, warnings and pre testing the child I happened to be married to failed the ganja test and of course is banned for three years.

I figured if I could be another example to deter a stubborn spouse I should do it. Unfortunately for me no matter how many stories I shared with him he could not take heed but rather learn the hard way.

That really sucks! I wish he would have listened and abstained long enough to pass the medical. They (men) are sooooo stubborn - I'm sure all his friends were telling him he had nothing to worry about.

I don't think there is any guarantee that you will get the visa even AFTER you wait out the 3 year ban. They can do whatever they want to do. But, you don't even have a chance in Hell if you test positive

Yes, there's been ONE person on here that I know of that DID get it after the 3 yr ban. Some of you may remember him and his fiance...... She's the one who was banned.

That was that "I" would NOT have stayed and waited the 3 yrs !!!

Well, Eric was lucky - he was able to keep his current job and get transferred down to Jamaica for a while. So he just lived down there with her for part of the ban. I personally could not continue the crazy long-distance thing for 3 more years. It was killing me the short while we did do it

Well, do you really expect the Embassy to let anyone and everyone have a visa? I don't blame them one bit. If someone tests positive for drug use, it's safe to assume they're going to continue to use drugs when they come to the U.S. - which is ILLEGAL! So why would they let them have a visa?

I forgot to tell you Sarah's good news. Marlon arrived in Arizona around 10 p.m. Friday night. He had to navigate 3 airports and had a 3-hour delay in Chicago (we had horrible weather in the midwest Friday); but arrived safe and sound.

Yuck, 3 different airports? I did 2 layovers ONCE - never again for me!! I'm glad he got 'home' safely.

What's up? I see you are on the job as am I. Just did 8 hours yesterday then went home slept for 3 hours and am back for 8 hours more. I do this night thing occasionally. I have to work the extra to make my pocket money for my trip to JA next month. I'm so excited.

I am way past the baby making stage. My youngest is 17 and just started college, so I am experiencing the empty nest syndrome. I am so lonely. I am so happy that I came across this forum. You guys are like my daily companion. I can't wait till Mike gets his GC next year so that he can join me stateside.

I heard also you can bring on labour by massaging certain pressure points, the webbing between your thumb and finger, parts of your foot.
