I hope everyone is doing well. Our family is doing well, That God, he truely answers prayers. Big up to all of you out there dealing and perservering through this process, which is already pain in the ASSS and having to deal with everyday life which means fi mi work, school, more work, finding time fi mi pickney, mi hubby extended family and most importanty fi misef!!! Mi goodness !!!!I find misef totally beat at the end of the day, wishing there was more one more hour left in the day. I wonder sometime times how we deal with it all.

We are excited about our trip to JA tuesday. D's family is planning party for him so he's very excited, and scared all at the same time. Scared mostly about what everyone expects from him when he arrives for his first trip home. He learned that the home he lived in burned down the other day Not sure what this is all about. But he was very up set about it, We were actually planning to stay there for a couple of day, I'm just glad it didn't happen while we were there.

I've asked before but I'm a bit concerned about video games and a CD player we purchases for his daughter, should I just say that the items are mine if they ask? Keep walking? what? My bags have always been seached on prior visits, I have never had to pay, but this time I have soo much more stuff?

Yup, been there -- done that. You should have seen me at the airport waiting for him to come through the doors at Customs.....I really thought someone was gonna call Security on me because I couldn't sit still and kept running to the bathroom

I was about to go balistic (is that a word ) cause I thought hubby had missed the plane, I had looked all over, He was no where in sight, I had walked away wit mi head hanging down about to bawl suddening look up all I remember seeing was his white teeth all i could do was laugh at misef

This was my 1st marriage and "I" am personally not into the big wedding thing at all. I wanted small, he wanted big....but we both knew we did not want a court house wedding....for us, just to impersonal. We had a small wedding at our local state park...and one of my friends "married us". Craig could not believe it was real because my friend performed the wedding, even with marriage certificate. He had met her (and stayed with the 2 of us) during our travel agent business trip to Jamaica last April. Our wedding was the 3 of us (me, Craig & my son). Another good friend took awesome pics, a client of mine put together our flowers. It was very very romantic, beautiful weather, short & sweet. Craig does love the fact that we went small (more affordable) and then whenever we can back to Jamaica, that's when we'll have the "real" one at the hotel where we met with friends and family.

Ditto, we went small as well, very romantic, short and sweet, we were planning to go the court house, the minister doing the weddings at the court house just happen to mention his chapel, afterward I learned It was just what I wanted. Beautiful !! All for less than 500-600$ for dress, chapel, tux, pics everyting. I could not have asked for anything more.

ok ladies i am stressing out about this...not sure what to do...what the right answer is....i called my insurance to see what is all included as i will need to start seeing a dr. pretty soon and they said maternity is NOT covered...it is a al' a cart option that i didn't pick when i signed up for it...well duh of course i didn't wasn't planning on getting preggo....so they said i could add it but it wouldn't cover this current pregnacy...so what do i do....i have been told to look into state funded programs...but will that effect mike and his AOS...i started filling out a application online but stopped when it started asking questions abot mike and who sponsered him blah blah blah....

so my next thought was if i couldn't do that i came across a maternity card...it is not insurance but will give you a discounted price and can save you up to 60%....

or should i maybe cancel my half of the insurance and get another plan that will cover me? i am just not sure what to do i need to bounce these thoughts off of you ladies......

i am due may 6th....i am so pissed at my insurance i was crying and so stressed...and i was thinkingt this can't be good for me or the baby...so i called the maternity card people and actually it was a lot cheaper then i thought it was going to be...about the same if i added it to my insurance and cheaper if i got a whole new plan...so i am happy with this choice...i hope it works...

what are the names??? mike says if it is a boy he wants it to names after him...NO WAY...i don't need another one....

I am glad that you are feeling well. I don't wish this morning sickness on anyone it has been real bad this week. The fatigue is a killer too. I am ready to go to bed now and I slept 13 hours yesterday. I am praying the lord will help me through this because I am allergic to about 9 medications (which all make me spew). I bet you guys are so happy and excited!! If you need anything just let me know Shauna.

Hey Shauna, I had one of those discounted plans back in the day for dental. It worked pretty well when I needed it. Only thing is that pregnancy can be a rough journey God forbid, hope it all goes well for u. U can be left with huge hospital bills, specialist bills and such. Def try to get on the plan that would cover u. I didn't think if u get state help it would affect Mike. I maybe wrong but I thought if ur a USC ur entitle to certain benefits. They wanna know info about him to see if u qualify like if u have more income than u say have s tuff like that. If he gets certain benefits that's when it could become a problem. I maybe wrong on some of this. Hope all work out for the better.

My likkle 2cents for the new preggo ppl. I hear it all the time from new mothers, that they wanna buy all the stuff that their newborn needs. Dem no want nuttin wah nobody use. My motto tek it. Do u know how much money u can save or put to better use. U don't have to use everything ppl give u but some it. In actuality those parents may have used those things 3 times the most, then baby no longer needs or can't fit. Only things I wouldn't recommend taking are strollers and cars seats, just wanna be safe !

Jax, this can ahppen to anyone at any stage of pregnancy God forbid, just make sure u keep up with ur doctor visits learn ur baby, learn ur body changes and never assume anything will JUST GO AWAY...u will be just fine.
