Hey Guys happy labor day :) I was just sitting here thinking. Is there any difference in the scheduling of K3 as opposed to K1 interview scheduling? I notice there are some K3 that have return their DS230 before some K1 and the K1 gets an interview date sooner. I hear that the computer generates the dates but what do they base that on? Im wondering if the computer just spits out a date and the embassy personel just print out a list daily of those to send interview letters to!! i wish i could be a fly on the wall as to how this part of the proces works :unsure:

CONGRATS SWEETIE!

Please pm me when you have a free moment.

No waste of time that's right. We have been planning forever for this moment. Hubby is so thrilled. We found out last week and let everyone know this week. Morning sickness is a pain and the fatigue. Hubby though was really sick this week with a cold and I can't hardly eat a thing. Sympathy for me :lol: yeah right. I am going back to bed for more rest on this Labor day. ;)

Here is our interview experience..

We get called to the window (window C) and the officer tells my SO to sit down cuz they just want to talk to me. It was a different officer than the first time. I could tell that she was reading the questions from the computer screen and she asked me the same questions that she asked my SO from the first interview so most of the questions were about me. Where did I work? How many kids did I have? How did we meet? How many times did I come to JA? Did our relationship become romantic right away? How did we stay in touch? Did he meet my son? How does my son feel about him? Did I meet his kids? How old are his kids? Did I meet his family? How does my family feel about me bringing him to America? Was I staying at his house? Why did I want to marry him? Am I concerned about our cultural differences? And then she told me to sit down and have my SO come to the window. She asked him one question....What did I wear to bed last night? and he said...she was wearing nothing....and then she had this big smile on her face and everyone in there was laughing so much....it was too funny. And then she called me back to the window with him and she said they just had to make sure our relationship was not fraudulent and she was sorry for having to ask that question..congratulations and good luck. We were laughing so much when we left and everyone was smiling so much at us. And off to airpak we went....

Congrats Finesse;

That answer that your SO gave was so funny and to the point. :lol::lol::yes: I like the way he figurately (sp) shut her up. The questions they ask, boy it makes you wonder.

Anyway CONGRATS :dance::dance::dance:

I know a guy who went for his AOS interview and they aked him what type of protection he uses when he has intercourse with his wife and he told them that they did not use anything. He was thinking of him using a condom. She was previously interviewed separately and told them that she uses an IUD. Take it that this guy did not even know that she uses this thing or what an IUD was. This was a genuine marriage and they were denied. A lawyer told him that they are not supposed to ask such personal questions, but they (USCIS) can do whatever they want. If a lawyer was present he would not have had to answer that question. He has hired a lawyer to file an appeal and work on his case. :angry::angry:
