I pray that wasn't a mistake that Mr. Man admitted it, even so long ago.

mi to.......

He made the best choice given the circumstance. The probability of it coming up at the interview is high and it's best not to lie especially if they have some proof. The admitted use was over 7 years ago

That's Belly's Girls post ^^^

What proof could they possibly have of him smoking 7 years ago?

And don't tek the urine weed test as gospel many people have been given blood and/or hair tests

I'll get back to you about whether they gave him the results or not.

Are you SURE this is right?

I have NEVER heard of anyone being given a hair test at ANY embassy...I could of course be wrong.

I've never heard of it being done at the embassy, but I'm not surprised. With the increase in fees they probably found another way to deni folk, I'm sure it's more expensive. A family member of mine had a hair test done, she said it can be dectable up to three months after smoking censation.

:lol: i remeber one time when i went to stay w/mike...he asked me to make a cd of all Air Supply....i knew the songs but didn't know the name of the group..and could not figure out for the life of me....why my man loved "i'm all out of love i'm so lost without you."..and would keep that song on repeat and sing it at the top of is lungs....

I'm guilty  I like Air Supply and REO Speedwagon - all those old-school songs! I listen to all different kinds of music. I used to sing karoke all the time too! I told Tony I should get on one of those reality shows where they play part of the song and you have to sing in the missing lyrics!

Naah I'm flying US Airways out of Philly. I have never used Air JA. I don't know why but I just haven't.

I've never used them either - they don't even fly out of Detroit. I usually fly Northwest which is my favorite. I've also flown U.S. Air and American to Jamaica. Although after my flight home the other day, I will NEVER fly American again

I wish you well on your interview as well. I'm not going back for this one. I'll be on travel for work so it wouldn't work. Hopefully, it would be necessary.

Maybe it's just me but I have noticing for quite some time now that CR-1 visa holders seem to get their visa a lot quicker then K-1 visa holders. Anyone see this pattern?

I am waiting to see how long it will take for Empress to get hers.

Empress, Shonnie - I wish you both a safe trip to JA and good luck with the interviews on Tuesday.

KK - I am sure that your fiance will be successful and we look forward to hearing that he is on his way soon.

Thank you...I have started packing up some things. Even though I will only be there for 5 days I still manage to fill 2 suitcases. I don't understand .....Bringing something for everyone Gosh! I will return on the 5th but not until late in the night.

are you flying air ja out of philly??? i remember those lovely flights....and going through immigration to get your luggage....such a long wait...

Naah I'm flying US Airways out of Philly. I have never used Air JA. I don't know why but I just haven't.

i have gone on us airs as well to ja...nice flight...usually not very crowded....

I saw it on the Jamaica Gleaner's website this week. My sister's best friend has one of those green cards, so I had to tell her to try and get something done ASAP. I wish I had told her to do her citizenship before since the cost before the increase was about what the renewing of the greencard is now.
