Congrats KK! Just a little bump in the road but that visa is a good as yours!

Thanks for the insight everyone. I agree...I will just let her figure it out. It is a TINY message board (only 60 some members) and she is very active on the board so I know she will figure it out eventually. It feels weird posting in the same posts she does when there is so much "history" there but I will get over it. Thanks for the help :luv:

I also had them put that I was a fulltime employee and in good standing...just so the embassy *knew* my job wasn't going anywhere.

Wow...seems like I've missed a lot since I've been "gone".

We survived the Hurricane Dean. There was no major damage noted where I was staying. The power was off for a few days. Everyone is fine.

So interview.....

We got blue slipped to return with the no impediment form. Blue Slip is a request for more information. Fiance received form already and is schedule to return to the Embassy on Sept. 4th.

I had originally wrote a couple of paragraphs on the experience but it got erased. So I'm keeping this one brief.

Sorry.

KK! I'm sorry to hear that you got blue slipped but you will have that visa! Congrats!!!!:thumbs::dance:

I think they also want to know whether the position is temporary or permanent...

Are you referring to the "Work Number"? My company does the same thing but we have a records dept that will do a letter only if requested. Maybe you can speak to someone about that.

Another Question:

For those that filed your 2006 tax return and applied for a ITIN for you spouse. Did you recv any documentation from the IRS indication what the # is? I'm going to send in a copy of our tax return but it just states "ITIN Applied For" in the spouse SS# field. I have requested the actual letter from them countless times but never recv'd anything. They sent me everything but that. I have the # and also a copy of the refund status page that I was able to print off from their website but nothing else. Would this suffice or would I need that actual letter?

I believe an offer letter is just as good...I hope so. All I have is the offer letter that states full time employee, salary, life insurance, health insurance etc. It is on a letter head from the HR dept. I always keep the offer letters handy. That should work. Also, my bank statements have the direct deposits listed from the job. Shouldn't your job be able to provide a verification letter? What if you had to produce something to a company such as a car company? I think I would go and speak to HR about that because someone should be able to write up something real quick on letter head and sign it.

Oh girl...I was worried about a denial or something. You'll be fine! He will get it on the 4th. Especially if that was the only issue.

I know!!! I am so happy. Time flies when you're having fun. I have been down to JA 4 times in the last year therefore, time was just flying by us. But I am really happy about all my decisions and just glad that we were put together.

It took me awhile to figure out how everyone had a time line because I was updating my time line and it wasn't displaying but then I discovered the updating of the signature and put 2+2 together.:wacko: duhhhhh
