Im on a roll with the questions today... thanks for all your replies. One more concern i have. Chris does not smoke weed BUT his two brother and friend do and he works in close proximity to them allll dayyyy oh boy....will this show up in his medical? I recall readin somwhere in this thread abt pre testing not sure where i saw it cant find it but does anyone know where he can get this done in Mobay area? or should i be worried ???

They do random drug tests where I work, they said　for second hand smoke to show up on a test, would be the equivalent of being one of 8 people in a phone box where the other 7 were smoking for 24 hours.....

Trust me, I know what you're talking about.

My dad used to have a cigar box, every morning he'd pre roll enough spliffs to fill it and smoke the entire lot each day.....my mother was almost as bad...funny thing is, me and my brother don't even touch the stuff, I've never even tried a cigarette let alone anything else..

I think I'm going to have to join VJ Anonymous. I have gotten so addicted to this site. I'm online at work and I check to see what's happened on the site before I go to bed. It sad, nuh true! Only thing I have to look forward to until the hubby reach.

Girl, I thought I was the only one who feels obsessed with this site. I also check it everyday at work and when I work nights, my workstation is constantly on VJ. It is the last thing I do before I go to bed. When yardies don't post I feel so disappoionted and go back to the old pinned thread. I was home last week for a couple days and read the entire part 3.

Itak about VJ so much, my peeps think I can answer any immigration question. LOL. If only they knew my source. I am proud to be a VJ Yardie family member.

Kim just make sure YOU stay out of it. Betta yet, join her. Be like I told him to call you uno I don't know what wrong with him sometimes. You don't want to give her any reason to say anything bad about you. She will forgive her son but she may never forgive you and that's just unecessary problems. Hang in there and give tanks, like I said, you don't have to live with her. lol

Anyway how is it having him here? Details please

JALOVE, just have hubby call a few labs in Mobay anyone of them should be able to do a drug test for him. And he should definately avoid second hand smoke as much as possible. If they are truly his friends they will respect the fact that this is his future and will not smoke around him. Wait until he actually has an interview date and then schedule him for the pre test. If he's clean, proceed to schedule the medical if not, call and have the interview changed for 2-3 months later.

Girl it's fantastic, he seems to be adjusting...except when the kids get on his mind he just has to call them right away he's cute. That's the hard part..but he is great

quick update..the evil MIL called my husbands cousin in Jamaica and aske if he was in on the plan .ahahhaa for my husband to turn against her...I could not believe it...she's nuts. She was also telling him how I had an attitude at the airport...u damn right I did..cause I told u not to come..and if u did u would take the bus back home..which u didn't and of course I don't know how to get to her house from the airport and her crazy butt doesn't either and took me forever to get home..hell yeah i had an attitude....

Ha Ha Ha...........I remember when Andre first came here and insisted he could never get used to hot water, baths, air conditioning, heat.......my favorite.........he could never wear long sleeves. Um, yah, that all changed our first winter and then on till now.

Enjoy it now, cause you will have some great funny stories to tell and soon it will all just be memories as he acclimates more and more.

i know...he was feezing th e other day for 65 degrees..ahaha..walking around closing all the windows turning of the AC and the fans ...too funny..He asked does snow fall here..like right outside the yard...hahahaa..all I could do was laugh and tell him to brace himself

Unfortunately (or should I say fortunately) I can't relate to the snow, being in sunny South Florida. He will just have to get use to the days when it is 40 degrees in the winter (which are few and far between). Since Florida is getting so expensive, both of us will have to get use to the cold weather elsewhere when we move out of state.
