Congrats girl. Packing and moving is a Biii@@@! I still has stuff in boxes in my garage since I bought my house and moved in in December 2005. My heart goes out to you. Do not drag anything you won't use to the new place. But you must know that. LOL

Yeah, I already got rid of a bunch of stuff. Sold or gave away all my college textbooks (about 40 books!). Donated a bunch of stuff to a garage sale in which proceeds go to an animal shelter. Donated 9 semi-formal dresses and 3 pairs of shoes to Hope Closet which helps low-income girls go to the prom and such. And threw about 3 garbage bags and an old desk out in the trash And I'm just getting started!!!

Ummmmm......Delta charged me $100 the day I had to change my ticket.

Yeah, Northwest charges $100 too. And that was a couple years ago when they got me for it!!

We found a house and our offer was accepted Thank goodness.

So....when's the party going to be??????

As soon as you arrive to help me pack, move, and paint the new house!!! Don't worry - I'll supply the liquor!

The time to file would have been several years ago when you didn't even need to have an appointment. When you had all your docs together you just showed up at the embassy between certain times on certain days for your interview. Oh to have gone through the process then

Yes, that's what we did. We got delayed by Hurricane Ivan or else we would have gotten the visa 2 weeks earlier than we did! And we got to pick it up 4 business days after he got approved We interviewed on a Friday and picked it up the next Thursday.

We also didn't need the non-impediment to marriage form.

Well, Tony made it safely to Jamaica I have 3 more nights of work after tonight and then I get to join him for some relaxation!

Seems like you are a night owl like me. I am currently finishing up my 12-hour shift and just checking in before I have to give report and go home and here I found you reading all the posts. I saw Marlita on last night too asking questions about filling out the G325a. I know she is JA getting ready for her great bash of a wedding and was wondering what she was doing up at 3am. I just guess visa process keeps us insomniacs up at all hours.

Im on a roll with the questions today... thanks for all your replies. One more concern i have. Chris does not smoke weed BUT his two brother and friend do and he works in close proximity to them allll dayyyy oh boy....will this show up in his medical? I recall readin somwhere in this thread abt pre testing not sure where i saw it cant find it but does anyone know where he can get this done in Mobay area? or should i be worried ???

They do random drug tests where I work, they said　for second hand smoke to show up on a test, would be the equivalent of being one of 8 people in a phone box where the other 7 were smoking for 24 hours.....

that's for sure. We had it easy...the only complaint I had was the for the K1 went from $110 to $165 right before I applied. No appointment at the Embassy, drop off packages or marriage certificate. The new changes and prices make me

Now, I'm really jealous. Although, Andre and I went very smoothly last year. Still had bumps in the road; but it seems to be getting more and more complicated now.

I have a friend in Canada who pretty much just packed up and left Jamaica on their "honeymoon" 6 years ago for some European country I can't recall at this moment. They did the visa process from there and now live in Canada. Oh, to have just done it that way!
