Tell this man it is too late to start thinking about saving to come up. The ship has sailed for that long ago and he missed the boat. Tell him to stop being selfish! You have a new born that you have been taking care of ALL ON YOUR OWN. And he needs to be their to share the responsibility. That is the man thing to do and he needs to get over his fear of flying and get is ####### on that plane PRONTO!

I am not crazy!

I just work alot and most of the time when I am free I can't call Marlon because he is sleeping! We both know how expensive it is to call each other so we keep it to a minimum. Since I got my home phone I have been calling him more, about 3 times a week due to the interview approaching. When I went to Jamaica I stayed with him both times and he paid for my food and expenses while I was there. I will remove my siggy as obviously I am getting some flack for it.

Don't remove your signature if you don't want to. I completely understand what you're saying. I too dont' talk to Javon often not b/c I don't want to but because I refuse to pay that kind of money on phone bills. I work to hard to spend my paychecks on phone and create debt that I can't managed. I'm very frugal and may seem cheap to others but some things I just won't do b/c at the end of the day you can only do what you can handle. I love talking to my husband but what's the point if I can't afford it? Don't make anyone tell you otherwise.

I think the point of the initial post was that some of the rest of us are crazed and felt the need to call their S/O's more. No one was "telling" her anything at all about her relationship.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news....

Hello everyone, i need your help and suggestions-

I never thought this could be happening to me, I filed for my husband and our relationship was declining but we continued to "work on it" now when it was time to go about everything, my husband became hesitant to come to america. I couldn't understand why, he didn't have any money or job and his living wasn't so great so i thought it would be a good idea for him to come and atleast visit for a few months.

That was 2.5 months ago, my husband during his visit was lazy, quiet and mean. He was nice at times but our relationship was mostly strained by his constant complaints. He didn't really like it here.. He used my phone to call his girlfriend down in jamaica constantly, i could tell it was a woman by the way he reacted to my questions and the way the person responded when i called the numbers. He has ran up all my bills to the point where i cannot pay them. Anyway, it was a nightmare, i talked to his family and they told me to leave him. So anyway, he has left and gone back a yard, leaving me with no money or anything, he told me he was coming back. He called me once to tell me he landed and never after that. I called him and I told him i felt that he didn't care about me and that i didn't want him to return after leaving me this way and he was so detached and he said "didn't i try to make u see that?" so he asked me what did i want to do because he didn't feel the same way about me anymore and i said nothing and then he said "move on, cam" and he said he would call me back later (i guess he was so happy to be back with his girlfriend) i said "why bother" and hung up.

I feel relieved that he is gone from my life, i should have gotten rid of him a long time ago but i was trying to honor the sanctity of marriage. I tried to do anything to keep my husband but he wasn't giving anything in return. Now he has recieved his conditional green card, but he's not in the country and i dont want him to be able to come back, naturally. I know this time next year i will be alright but right now i feel bad.. I'm 23 years old, divorced used and abandoned. I was just acting on my my youth and now i'm thrown away.

I would like to have his visa revoked so that he cannot come back, but i was told this was not possible until 2 years from now. I know that he will regret what he has done because it's not really in his nature to be so cold (or so it seems), I know he doesnt like atlanta but i believe he will try to come back later. He has a job in jamaica and he worke a small job here off the books, I know he can lose his gc if he does not pay taxes, so maybe that's one way.

I need your help.

thanks

cam.....johnson

Maybe he wouldn't be able to come up with the $$$ to fly back to the US anyhow. If that is the case, just wait out the 2 years.

So, sorry.

I spoke to Marlon today and found out the Registrar General's office in Spanish Town has been hassling him about his no impediment form. He ordered and paid for it on June 18! I guess he was arguing with them last week as he paid the extra fee for expedited service and is yet to receive it! He is going back today. I have emailed and emailed to no avail! :help:

I don't understand why it takes so long. It's not like everyone is even requesting that certificate.

wow, I'm so sorry to hear this:( . the interview is a week from today. I'll definitely pray he gets it before Friday ((hug))

sometimes Jamaica can be so slow. I ordered my husbands birth certificate in August of last year and I didnt bother to pay for the express service because I know we didn't need it asap. He didn't get it until november

but your situation is more serious don't know if he can call and speak to a supervisor or manager because expedited service mean expedite!

not to mention I emailed them every two weeks. I NEVER got a response!

I haven't flown to Jamaica since last May, but can't you still go into the airport.....to the ticket counter section, shops, etc, but of course can't get through the doors to the right (inside)???

They are talking about the Kingston airport. Anyone can walk in MoBay's airport. I was there two weeks ago. We didn't have to show anything but our passports at the ticket counter.

I love the "new side" of Mobay's airport but still miss the pretty ladies singing "Welcome to Jamaica".

Congrats Kimmy

I miss those singing ladies to. My professor and I would always go and dance and sing with them to get us in the mood to teach music. It was so much fun. How I really miss those days young and foolish and full of adventure. The new wing is great better selection to get some grub before you board the plane now.

In the Kingston airport I don't remember them asking for anything but our ID's in May. I just remember Kingston airport is small and no waiting lines.
