WE GOT OUR INTERVIEW DATE!!!!!!

AUGUST 7 @ 1:30PM

THANK YOU GOD!!!!! :dance::dance::dance:

Congrats :thumbs:

Ditto :dance:

oooh sarah i'm so glad you got your interview date! mine is several hours before yours. it would've been awesome if we were both there at the same time though. we talked about starting our visa journey at the same time and here we are having interviews on the same day. imagine that!

i can't believe the embassy is giving different answers to the same question! i was very specific in what i asked regarding the i-134 vs i-865 and was told to stick with what the packet asked for. hmph!

Congrats MyDestinyAwaits!!

We received an email yesterday stating that hubbies green card will be here soon. If we don't see it in 30 days to call :whistle: . I am hoping his soc card will follow soon after that so we can fill out the FASFA. He is all nervous tomorrow is the big day for his college placement exams and on Thursday he signs up for classes. He has 2 things in mind he wants to study. :dance: :dance: :dance:

We saw the Transformer movie last night and it was great I highly recomend it to those who grew up watching the cartoon transforms.

A happy fourth to everyone.

WE GOT OUR INTERVIEW DATE!!!!!!

AUGUST 7 @ 1:30PM

THANK YOU GOD!!!!! :dance::dance::dance:

I have a question about the packet 3...

It includes the name of Marlon's son on the welcome letter. Marlon is a little worried because we forgot to fill out questions 21a & b on the DS-230 part 1. His son will not be coming to the US until much later. What should we do? :help:

You should be fine. His name is probably listed on the welcome letter b/c he added to the I-129f form. Since he will not be traveling w/Marlon he was correct by not including it on the DS-230 forms.

Phew, thanks! JG also told me the same thing and I told Marlon to quit stressing! lol

Jax & Anna -- did you go see Buju? We didn't. Roy worked all day and was tired.....we went to my cousins house to watch them try to blow up the neighborhood with all their illegal fireworks. Thankfully we all made it out of there alive. I still smell like smoke. Now Roy officially thinks us American are CRAZY :wacko::whistle:

I talked to Marlon today and he got the shots he needed in May Pen for around $4000JA. There are a couple more shots he needs but he can do them when he gets to Arizona. He also scheduled his medical in Kingston for July 18. All he needs to do now is get the no impediment form and we are set! It's so nice to know that we are moving right along! I wish that I could go to his interview but I can't miss any work during that time. Now I just have to be patient... :unsure:

Question: If someone enters the country w/o inspection and marries a US citizen couple yrs later, is it possible for them to stay here and adjust status ?

Here are the top 20 countries issued a K visa. This includes K1, K2, K3, and K4. I thought there would be more of these issued per year, but clearly I am incorrect.

How is the certificate of no impediment obtained and what is the cost?
