I'm writing you this letter to tell you that I'm leaving you for good. I've been a good man to you for seven years, and I have nothing to show for it. These last two weeks have been hell. Your boss called to tell me that you had quit your job today, and that was the last straw.

Last week, you came home and didn't even notice that I had gotten a new hair cut, cooked your favorite meal, and even wore a brand new pair of silk boxers.

You came home and ate in two minutes, then went straight to sleep after watching all your soaps. You don't tell me you love me anymore, you don't want to have sex anymore or anything. Either you're cheating on me or you don't love me anymore. Whatever the case is, I am gone.

I turned away from you when you had those silk boxers on because the price tag was still on them. I prayed that it was just a coincidence that my sister had just borrowed fifty dollars from me that morning -- and your new silk boxers were $49.99.

After all of this, I still loved you and felt that we could work it out. So, when I discovered that I had hit the lottery for Ten Million Dollars, I quit my job and bought us two tickets to Jamaica. But when I got home you were gone. Everything happens for a reason, I guess.

I hope you have the fulfilling life you always wanted. My lawyer said that with your letter you wrote, you won't get a dime from me. So take care.

On the 4th I will probably be washing baby clothes!!

Question - I received a copy of hubby's appointment letter from the consulate. I'm not sure why I got it, it would have been nice if they had sent me a copy of packet 3

Anyway, I was thinking of taking it to my doctors appontment tomorrow and having the doctor write a letter advising me not to travel, since the interview date is 5 days after my due date. what do u guys think?

Washing baby clothes ! I remember those days.

They usually send a copy of the appt letter to the petitioner as well...I got one.

I guess you can ask ur Doc to write u a letter, but the most important reason is that the baby will not have necessary shots to travel outside the country..

Does the embassy in Jamaica send a copy to both parties ( petitioner and beneficiary) or just to the beneficiary?

They say to both..1st I got a copy and he never did..2nd time he got it and I haven't received a copy yet...

We just got back from a business trip (mine) in Washington, D.C. If you saw any news clips of a Jamaican dancing in front of the White House last Thursday, that one was mine. He was so excited to see it.

We celebrated our first anniversary on Friday in D.C. Can't believe how fast the time has gone. For us, it is getting better and better each day.

As far as the job thing goes..........it's the luck of the draw. Andre applied for many jobs he was overly qualified for and after very promising interviews, never heard another word from them. His current job is working out well and he's moving up the ladder quickly. So, you just never know. Hang in there.

The move went well and I started my Stats class today, the teacher is fun and motivated!

i've called the embassy over 20 times, nothing but busy signals. then i finally get through and i'm put on hold for 11 minutes. i'm shopping at lowe's during all of this and the PA system interrupted my phone signal and disconnected me!!!

i ought to know our interview date within the next hour if i can get through.
