Yardies, at home and a farrin' (Part 4)

It has been awfully quiet around here . Or is it that I have NO life

You know I was thinking..Who thought about the geat idea to have July 4th fall smack in the middle of the week...

Well..just checking in....some not so good news mike ended up not getting the job i really think the guy who interviewd him had it in for him from the very begining.... the reason being is because he made a comment to him about just being in JA and he knows how they work they are lasy and do not want to do any work...so from the start he already had in his mind Mike would be the same.. so he was called back in to fill out papers...well not only did they have him fill out like 20 forms..but they had him watch a safety video and fill out a questions about the movie...this is the part that i have a problem with...mike never doing any type of job that had him watch a safety movie and fill out a paper about was a little confused and didn't understand some of the questions...he asked for some help to explain some of the questions from a couple of people in the room i guess on break and they all said NO....he even asked the man who was doing the interview and he said no and if you don't fill out the paper you don't get the job...so mike filled it out the best he could and then just left...he never got a call back.....so i am not sure if a letter needs to be sent to toysrus or just to let it be....i feel he was not treated the way he should have been..and just makes me sad...

I am sorry to hear that. If it was me I would be so mad and call Toy S R US . I think I get this from my mother. I hope he finds somewhere to work that is whole lot better than Toys R US.

I think I am addicted to the internet. Hubby is not home today to so I have me time. He is off with his brother in laws. I am suppose to be cleaning YUCK!

Damien and I are catching the subway downtown DC to watch the firworks on the 4th. We went two years ago and he loved it...even called his friends and family in JA to tell them about it. I'm not too thrilled about going but whatever makes me happy

Happy Sunday everyone

I have the option to work on the 4th (time and a half) but even if I don't work I'm still getting paid...so I'm not working taking advantage of all the paid time off I can. It will be so sweet to sleep in that day

Sorry Nanny about him not getting the job. Hubby applied everywhere and the first place he applied called back (a new manager was hired) and he got the job (that saga is on one of the previous Yardie threads). Tell him to hang in there, and in the meantime see if there are any computer courses/classes he can take to build up his resume.

cleaning...hmmm..I hve to do that when my daughter is sleeping or not home

Since 4th is smack in the middle of the week..not doing much..hanging with my girlfriend I haven't seen in 2yrs (moved to florida)...then get home to get up for work ...exciting ! I know

Question - I received a copy of hubby's appointment letter from the consulate. I'm not sure why I got it, it would have been nice if they had sent me a copy of packet 3

Anyway, I was thinking of taking it to my doctors appontment tomorrow and having the doctor write a letter advising me not to travel, since the interview date is 5 days after my due date. what do u guys think?

Washing baby clothes ! I remember those days.

They usually send a copy of the appt letter to the petitioner as well...I got one.

I guess you can ask ur Doc to write u a letter, but the most important reason is that the baby will not have necessary shots to travel outside the country..
