What other events go on during the day at this festival? Sounds like JA time

They have vendors along the area w/food, merchandise, etc. They also have DJ's playing across the park.

Thanks Anna I was just wondering if we go how early we should get there and what there was to do.

We got there really early......and after walking around and getting dinner we sat on the bleachers for a few hours....waiting....if you want to do it right -- bring some of those "fold-up" chairs. Lots of people had them and they parked themselves right up in front of the stage.

Depends on what you like to do, but I normally go around 6:00/7:00 depending on what time the performers come on.

Hey mommies, when will I be able to feel the baby move or kick? I thought I felt something the other day, but all my books say it's too soon. Maybe it was just gas

We have an appt. on July 20 to (hopefully) find out the sex.

Right about now for you would definitely be a possiblity, they say around 16 weeks!

Well, this is the big day for me, me my big belly, my son and NINE suitcases are off to DC.....On Luvtravelin's advice, got a letter from my doctor just in case...

Doc says I have sugar in my urine, he wants me tot go to the doctor ASAP after I get there to check for gestational diabetes :(

Not looking forward to the flight, but thankfully they say there's 5ft of room by the seat so at least will be able to move around..

wow rhonda it's hard to believe that you're already 15 weeks. a friend of mine had her first ultrasound on dvd and she showed it to me about a month before she had the baby. he was only like 18-20 wks gestation and he was bouncing around like crazy. it was so amazing to see, and it made me cry. when do the books say you should be able to feel the kid moving?

Between 16 and 22 weeks. And if it's your first pregnancy, you don't feel it as soon. When I had an ultra-sound at 12 weeks, the baby was VERY active! It's just so small I don't feel a thing!

When you're active, baby is quiet when your quiet, baby is active. My son was WIDE awake everyday at 4am. I would jump on my bicycle and go riding to put him back to sleep.

WOW! 9 suitcases :o Will they let you check that many? How much does it cost?

Hopefully the sugar is nothing to worry about, but keep an eye on it. My mom had gestational diabetes with both her pregnancies.

How long is your flight? You must have gotten an exit row seat to get all that room!

I just heard about this on CNN:

LONDON, England (CNN) -- Police say they have deactivated a suspected bomb in the center of London, raising renewed fears of a terrorist strike almost two years after the city was hit by deadly suicide bombers.

Scary stuff :girlwerewolf2xn: Aliengirl - I hope this doesn't delay your flight somehow. Are you flying out of London?
