This waiting is killing me. I left my office, ran an errand, came back, no message on my phone. :crying:

I know girl..memba he has to get home....plus they're 1hr behind... :luv: I'm just trying to make u less anxious :)

I know, but from 8 this morning? Why is it taking so long? I don't know whether it's a good thing or not that it's taking so long. And maybe he doesn't want to call me with bad news. :(

When Andre called me last year it was like 10:30 from an 8 interview. But, he didn't have to go home first. It would've been 5 more hours home, if that were the case.

Keep the faith!

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

Luckily, Damien's family doesn't ask for much. He consults with me before he sends anything....I usually don't have a problem because it's not often and not much money.

His mother......I don't have enough time to write about her........

Finesse and Jlvr where r yah...
We also had some issues with friends calling...but like you we just stopped answering if we didn't know the person. Unfortunately Andre and I weren't on the same page with all of this and he would give in to whomever called and fall for the guilt trips regularly. He has quite a lot of debt to show for it now...and ain't no one sending him money from JA ;)

Thats what I say...I have a plan and there is nothing but GOD that can steer us from our goals...when u help everyone..who helps u and take care of u...

agreed!!!!!!! Hubby helps his mother out now and I expect him to continue to do so, when he comes up here. when he met me he told me his mother lived a simple life and he wasn't lying. She's never asked me for a thing. On the other hand his children's grandmother seems to always have her hand out and she works. The kids called me on saturday and I asked the grandmother want they need and it boiled down to a whole new wardrobe. Now I've been bringing them clothes for a whole year but when i see them they always have the same old stuff on.. Even hubby had to ask them do they still have the clothes because when he picks them up, they are wearing the same clothes. He thought the grandmother was giving the clothes to the children's cousins. the kids have an aunt here in the states and every once in a while I'll see some old navy or children's place clothes appear that I didn't give them. so I know they have clothes

Now don't get me wrong before I met hubby I was a single mom and of course feel that fathers should support their children and do extra, but I feel like she's getting from all quarters and its still not enough. The kids tell me that their mothers friends buy them clothes also. (their mother is deceased). I told hubby all the stuff she asked for, for the kids and he told me "she too nuff". he gives her money and then she turns around expects him to buy everything that they need that is my observation.

Oh man this topic has me going...sorry for the venting...

I can't stand when Andre will finally get some more phone card minutes and will call his mom and it has been a few days or a week or so since he called last. She will literally spend the whole phone card lecturing him and going on and on about how he didn't call her. He didn't have any credit on Mother's day but he got some the next day and called...she went on and on for a good 20 mins about how insensitive and awful of a son he is for not calling on MD...she basically runs out the credit letting us know how upset she is. Yeah that really makes us want to run out and buy more credit to call you...Not!
