So, i am having an issue..my mother-in-law who left Ja when my husband was 11yrs old..She went back 4 yrs ago bury my brother-in-law...now with him coming she keeps saying how she hopes he doen't come and distance himself from her, as if he doesn't have a family..it is really ticking me off. I mean we get along fine except when she starts talking #######. What do u guys think ? She keeps talking of scenarios w/o out me in it...u think she doen't this purposely or unconsciously...it irritates me...

It's her guilt talking....because now he's coming thru u, and he might feel resentful towards her for not sending for him a long time ago.

Yea I agree. You mention she went down 4 yrs ago. Do you know why she hasn't been back? That could play a big part in that as well.

She hasn't been back she say b/c she has to have money..and what ppl r going to think and all this #######..but i'm mad b/c of ALL the sacrifices I had to make for her to expect him to "cater" to her is a little unrealistic

Hey everyone, things are going a lot better for me. The job deal is not a sure thing yet. Tony told me to quit worrying  They have some other options up in the air right now - I'm hoping something local works out! If not, we will come up with some type of compromise when the time comes. Thanks everyone for your support :luv:

We had a really good weekend. Tony cooked me ackee & saltfish  (The ackee was $14 for a can). I've been craving it sooooo bad and the tinned ackee tasted better than I remember it being - maybe because I haven't had it in so long! Then on Sunday he cooked us some nice Jamaican beef soup - yam, carrot, cho-cho, pumpkin, ####### Soup, dumpling - Yummy!! I guess he knows how to butter me up after a fight  Just feed me!!

Glad to hear things are going better.

mr jengles I like that, his medical appt is for next thursday at Mobay Hope and he's going to Kingston this thursday to pick up what should have been his packet number 3, since he never got a medical history form and he'll order his police cerftificate while he's there.

I can't belive I'm up so early but I was starving, I feel like I'm in my first trimester. All I do is suck down food. three more weeks till the due date and Friday is my last day at work!!!!!!!!!

Good luck today ladies!!
