Seems like the latest inteview is July 31 st. So I'm just hoping that my fiance get's his for early August. It's hard being apart.

How did you know that it has left the NVC? I got a letter saying that in about a week it would be sent to Kingston. That was on June 1st. Are you using the courier to send in packet 3?

Does anyone have an idea how long the Embassy take to answer emails? I sent an email on Thursday and was just wondering when I should expect an answer.

How did you know that it has left the NVC? I got a letter saying that in about a week it would be sent to Kingston. That was on June 1st. Are you using the courier to send in packet 3?

I called and talked to somebody. Marlon is using the courier to send in his packet 3 info.

futuremrs, you might want to hold off on the courier service. i just used the number that jengles provided. i got an appointment for my fiance to drop off the ds-230 next week. she told me not to use the courier service and i was really surprised that we got an appointment so quick. she said that he'll probably end up with an august interview date. i'm praying that it'll be within the first 2 weeks so that i can still go with him.

here's what we're going to do:

1. fiance goes to embassy next week to drop off ds-230 and pick up packet (it contains the medical info too)

2. i will start calling in about a week to see if an interview date is set

3. fiance will go back to the embassy to pick up the interview letter (since we don't want to wait on the mail and we must have the letter in order to get into the embassy for the actual interview)

I also called the embassy today. The lady told me as soon as they get the DS-230 we will get an interview date. She also mentioned that it would be in August. We are still going to have a courier take the part 1 to the embassy tomorrow. She told me that the packet was mailed out today to Donna. They received 6 packets today.

Doh! lol I just called Marlon and he sent the DS-230 part 1, the bio page of his passport, and a copy of our NOA2 via UPS 30 minutes ago! I did tell him to call the embassy to see if he could pick up packet 3 but I figure it will be mailed to him anyway. If there won't be an interview until August then there is no real rush! lol I am sending him some money soon for the No Impediment to Marriage form and for his medical.

I wonder if I my petition was one of them. So August it is. I'll take it. So was it okay to courier the Part 1...is the embassy okay with it?

They are pretty good with emailing from my experience, if your case is ready they'll reply...i get replys next day usually

It also contains the DS-156, DS-156K, DS-157, and also the 4 page medical instructions as well as a checklist for the interview.

I think hubby might have to make an appointment also, he still hasn't gotten his interview later and he's made his medical appt. What is up with the mail!!!

while he's there I'll have him pick up his packet 3 then, the lady said it only contained the ds-230, she didn't say anything about medical instructions. I do not want ANYTHING to go wrong with his paperwork. while he's in kingston he can order his police certficate, he ordered one in october but never went back to pick it up.
