The only beef I eat in Jamaica is if we go out to a really good restaurant. No burgers at Burger King either.

Ochi had the best whopper ever!!! I can't eat whoppers here anymore, I tried!

If you even mention the word "burger" in our house you hear teeth sucking noises  I guess it's a good thing.

I don't know if anyone noticed but the beef here tastes completely different.

From where? In JA? I could not eat the beef in JA, I don't know what it was but it wasn't beef.

Dwain's favorite is a jerk Burger from island grill. I told him next time bring me Chicken I could not stand the beef. He Loves burgers down there from Island Grill and Burger King. This are a treat for him.

Thanks Shauna I was wondering what porridge was. Dwain said he had some last night and I was porridge what is that.

Never have and never will. I will get good beef at Tusconini's at Harmony Hall. They have great food.

Will eat it at all-inclusive resorts.

I will make him get me some then to try it. Something new :). I thought I had tried everything.

Right now I am putting the binder together and I got new photo albums for all our pictures. My 1st photo book was so heavy with photos it is falling apart.

We are so relived now with the medical in place and today I had a IL notary sign my I-864 and his passport/drivers license photo copy for our taxes. I wish I had a scanner because I would scan our appointment letter info for our interview.

Damien didn't want to see Capleton either. The person he really wanted to see was Buju Banton but the tickets sold out so fast...we didn't get there on time. We both enjoyed Sizzla and Elephant Man concerts. He didn't get too happy about going to Richie Spice so I'm going with some friends.

I guess most of your Jamaican hubbies would share with you the stories of a true Caribbean Carnival. For any of you who never experienced the Mardi gras like festivities in Jamaica, there are a lot of US cities that do have caribbean Carnivals where you get the chance to really let yourself lose. You know how Caribbean people can party.

So now that I have all these friends (am I so bold to use that word now?) across the US, I hope I can get the chance to meet some of you when I visit some of these cities this summer for Carnival. I am normally in Boston, Philly, Delaware, New York, Atlanta and Miami. I am hoping to add maybe 2 more cities this year so I can give that new car of mine some mileage. Does anyone live in a city that has an exciting Caribbean Carnival and plan to go this year? Don't worry, I am not going to be hitting anyone up for accomadation. I usually stay in a hotel.

Hi

I go to Carnival every year here in Atlanta I believe it is in May this year. My house is open so if you want to stay you can no problem !!!! We'll blow up the bed for you  . It's usally held in Conyers.

Mmmmm I love cornmeal porridge  I make it at least once or twice a week (sometimes more  ) Nothing like it to warm you to the bones and keep you full all day. I am the only one who eats it though. Andre doesn’t like it so much. When he does eat it though he eats it with water crackers…he lets them get all soggy…gross
