Do you have a number between your Havana number and BGT? I have "01".

There is a girl that already scheduled an interview, chicagomeetshavana is the page on Facebook. She is been blogging about the change to Bogotá and she said she was going to do a doc with what the Cuban beneficiary needs for the Colombian visa.

Yes, I have seen her post, although I don't know how she was able to schedule the appointment without the instruction letter...

She did a video explaining what she did yesterday.

Could you link please? I didn't see that post.

The scheduling people at the Colombia embassy said not to schedule yet as it isn't clear until we get instructions if we can use the same DS160.

Thank you for this. I can't watch the video yet cos I am at work but will do so when I get a break.

the link she sent asks us to schedule a medical exam--what if we already did that in Cuba? Do we have to do it again?

it also says we need to submit  a ds260, but for Cuba we did a ds160...which is it?

I'm not sure if Colombia would honor the medicals from Havana, they have their own list of doctors. I'm an October filer, I'm just trying to prep as much as possible with process and paperwork, I don't even have a NOA2

does anyone know if you have to redo the ds160 when its transferred? or is the one we already did sufficient?

When I called the Columbia scheduling number this morning  and asked if I could make my appointment since our case now shows as "ready" on Ceac, that was the main reason they told me not to just go in myself and schedule the appointment. They said they weren't sure if I was going to need a new one with a new confirmation number. In the email they are supposedly going to send us there will be all of the instructions. They said I should not go through with completing the registration process on the website until I get that email.

i have 02

01 & 02 is linked to the beneficiary/s. When I submitted the I-129F application I listed my fiance's son as well, even though he's not immigrating with him so my fiance had 01 after the HAV# and his son had 02. They do this in case the child is immigrating with the parent. The 01/02 etc is normal.
