I didn't have any problems with receiving approval for the petition for fiance visa. Also the interview at the embassy was scheduled rather quickly. The problem my fiance has encountered is getting a medical appointment in Lima. He lives in northern Peru and when he calls the doctor offices they tell him the doctors are very busy he will need to come to Lima. Then when he goes to Lima they will not give him a day and time to come for the medical exam. They just tell him to keep coming back. Help. Is there a trick to getting a medical exam appointment in Lima????

Your fiancee just needs to schedule an appointment with one of the civil surgeons listed in his Packet 3/4. He may need to do a part of the exam in the morning and the remainder in the afternoon. And he may need to return to Lima a few days after to pick up the results.

My husband saw Dr. Oscar Situ (one of the 3 listed). He provided my husband a copy of the vaccination supplement (DS-3025), which is very important to keep safe and make copies of.

The civil surgeons are: Oscar Situ 441-4349 or 442-7551

Sandro Corigliano 222-2192

Nora Lari 422-5979

Hope this helps!

My Fiancee called and scheduled an appointment with Dr. Nora Lari 422-5979. She gave her one a week from Monday. Also, if you have any medical records I advise you to bring them. My Fiancee had taken some shots recently and will bring her card with her ( and her son). The doctors office said than to bring an addition $200/soles for vaccinations per person. So if you do call and schedule an appointment make sure to ask if there are to be any additional costs incurred.
