Tax return question for the interview

Hello everyone,

 

Our interview is scheduled in Montreal for the 15th of february and I have some questions concerning the tax return transcript:

- How many years do we need to provide?

- My fiancé is self employed, do we need to provide a W2 form?

- I also read that the tax return has to be ordered online at IRS, but is it also the case for self employed people?

- My fiancé is self employed, do we need to provide a W2 form? Tax Return Transcript, thats what we did

- I also read that the tax return has to be ordered online at IRS, but is it also the case for self employed people? Yes you can order it online, if he jas credit card he can immediately print it, or by mail it takes 5-10 days. ours took about 5 days.

Self-employed people don't get a W-2, they get a 1099.

 no he doesnt. its for IRS to order the tax return transcript. you're welcome

So.... After talking with him, he already has all his tax returns, that his accountant had provided to him each year. Do you think this will be good, or do we need to order new ones by IRS?
