The Super Bowl is a Current Event, please leave this thread in this forum. Here's hoping for ring #5 for Tom Brady and Belichick. Go Patriots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Of course most of the yo-yo's here would rather talk about Trump.

Cowboys fan, huh?

No I just like good sportsmanship.

I actually don't really follow football at all so it was mostly a joke. To a non-football fan who has no team preference, the whole "deflategate" thing made my zero opinion of the Patriots go to slightly negative.

EDIT: Also, and this just shows how little I know, why would that make me a cowboy fan? Wasn't the case involving a game with the Colts?

To give him credit, nobody can make fun of himself like Tom Brady can

Sorry but it's against a Marylander's moral principles to root for the Pats. It's not on my high list to watch this year. I'm only here for the commercials. :pop:

I'll watch the good ones on youtube.

Also don't have cable so I would have to stream it even if I did want to watch it. Then again I'm also in Houston so I could go find some park where it is playing on a big screen. Unfortunately this morning the weather was a little wet and cold. Maybe if it gets nicer this afternoon, and I get out of work on time (so I should probably stop posting here and finish my notes).

Superbowl isn't on cable, it's network TV. :P Honestly I don't know how much patience to watch even the ads this year - my little nephew across the pond is begging his Auntie and Uncle to play video games with him, and my husband has spent all morning tearing apart the innards of a PC that just borked itself. Looks like I'll be having to order some parts...

These days don't you need a cable subscription to watch any TV though? At least in NYC I did, I could never get the basic channels. Haven't actually tried here in Houston yet. With newer TVs I didn't think you could still pick up the network stuff without a subscription through some provider.

A little digital tuner converter box/antenna is usually all you need to pick up network stuff, unless you live out in the boonies like me. The government used to give out big rebates for them so that you could get the boxes nearly for free if the tv didn't have a digital tuner already built in.
