I was at work and am the one who knew the letter was coming but I called him right away. I'm happy for you too! Maybe we will have our interview on the same day?? If you get your number from NVC/ find out they received it let me know.  I was thinking about trying for the first time in Monday June 5.

My fiance is so clueless in this process.... He asked if I could schedule my interview now.  I was like "lol no"

I for sure will let you know, that would be great if we did :) When you saying trying do you mean trying to book your interview for then or at that time?

Hiiiiiii toanother trini... what is your noa1 date? Actually I went on 23rd may to get a PC and they sai it is generally valid for 1 but for immigration it's 3 months.

also a number of ppl said you can get the vaccines before the interview for cost savings - a fellow trini noted every 1dt Thursday of the month health centers do them for free of charge, so u can investigate that.

Good luck !!

hey, my vaccines are all updated and not all vaccines are given on the first Thursday of the month ...... also my pc was also done on January and sent to the nvc in april its fine they have no issue with it ....... also you have to wait for nvc to cc your case and only then will u be further instructed on medicals etc..... good luck

Congratulations to all the people who got approvals today! Yay for you guys!!!

February 14th was my received date and today is the 100th day. I'm so depressed but I'm focusing my energy on other things because I am so tired of this ridiculous process. My fiancé keeps checking his mail and when he says no mail, I feel like my heart just sinks. 😣😣😣 I know this is hard for him too. And I keep thinking of all of us thousands of people going through the same pain. I keep praying for some update on our case. Xoxo

Hi,

I've got a situation that needs some clarification. I've browsed the forums and found information on this but they are pretty outdated (~2010) so I'm not sure if there's any new development with how this is handled.

So I sent out my I-129F form late January of this year and we had a receipt date of the NOA1 on February 1, 2017. We're currently waiting the NOA2 and I'm starting to feel a little nervous.

I (the petitioner) work abroad (In Singapore) along with my fiance. We currently live together. Now I've been reading about the I-134 and some people in 2010 have been stating that I may need to show proof that I'm domiciled in the United States. Some people have told me that it's okay for the I-134, but we might encounter problems during the adjustment of status (AOS) because I must be domiciled to petition her for permanent residency (no co-sponsor allowed at this point).

My current plan right now is as soon as we get the NOA2, I'm moving back to the United States (as I have some offers waiting for me back home). Will any of this be a problem for us? I really hope not.

If anybody has any information on this, please share!

I mean trying to call NVC to see if they got my file/ have a number ready for me (to track when it gets to the embassy in Montreal). It seems to take most people a few weeks for this (after getting their NOA2).  Is your fiance going for the interview?

Weeeahhhh...they issued and RFE one case below me and 4 cases above me, I am hoping that the cases in-between got approved.

Also, I got to speak to a tier 2 officer yesterday, and he said that my case was on someones desk.
