In case you all missed it. Our caseworkers work in a huge pyramid. Maybe some of the wait time is a result of them still building the pyramid that they work in. Just one of many theories I have created to explain what might be going on over there.

Here's my favorite theory so far....

You see, they have the regular workers, the ones that communicate back and forth to the phone workers and follow the rules. Then there are the workers (or should I call them true patriots), who are not USCIS employees, who have infiltrated the CSC pyramid complex in order to get the job done. That's why we see mail approvals, but not online approvals. These I-129F ninjas are shuffling out approvals left and right and out of sight, so fast that nobody can see what's going on. They move in on the USCIS officer's desks like Bruce Lee and then disappear into the shadows with the cases that we figured had slipped into the abyss. Then the next thing we know, we get an approval in the mail, and nobody over there knows what happened.

The California service center (seriously)...

Also, if you squint your eyes and look at the building above, it kind of looks like a cruise ship. That might explain a lot of things too.

Hello Everyone,

For a few months now, I have read your posts and learned a great deal from you. I need someone to help please. I am one of the remaining few with NOA1 in January who has yet to receive any word or notice regarding NOA2 or RFE. My NOA1 date is January 09, 2017! Who has recent scan info for that date? How can I obtain for myself?

Please help me hold on to my sanity!

I'm beginning to wonder if they group the boxes by weeks and individuals/teams are assigned to particular weeks.  That might explain why Feb 6 has had so much movement, while there are plenty of Feb 1-3 still waiting.  Looking at the month of February, we have the last week of January that led into February (January 30-3) and then February 6-10, 13-17, 20-24 and then February 27-March 3.  So maybe the workers/teams are divided into 4 groups that handle different weeks in a month and as they finish the first week of one month, they start the first week of the next month.  So, for instance, team 1 that was doing January 2-6 finished up and moved onto the first full week of February which is Feb 6-10.  Or, I could be totally wrong and I'm trying to find a pattern out of something that is truly chaotic.

I think that is Embassy specific.  My understanding is that the Manila Embassy will allow the petitioner attend the interview, but not all Embassy's do allow this.

Hi everyone. My fiance called the uscis today and asked about our case. Day 106. They said our case is fine just still waiting to be looked at. We are still in our time frame of the normal waiting. Another month and a half, if nothing is heard of, then we can investigate further.

We are Feb 6th noa1.

Hope this puts some minds at ease. It helped me a little as I'm such a stresshead. 🙂

Thanks for your information,I'm Feb.8 filer, we have tried to reach tier 2 for twice but with no luck, your informations make me feel better.

My fiance subscribed USPS email notification. Not sure if it would help to know if any mails today.I also confuse why people beyond our date seem to have been getting NOA2, that makes me think if our letter or case lost? No one knows
