Fresh news from Interview- my visa was approved  it went very smooth, took 2 hours in the embassy. If anyone want I can describe step by step how it was. Im so happy and relieved  now time to go home!

My Fiance just called NVC, our case is not there yet. The guy told him to call in June :/ he stayed on a phone for almost one hour to reach the person who he talked to... and now he is mad that I even told him to call because the person told him not to call for next 2 weeks... but I calmly explained my Fiance that that is what they tell everybody and he should try again tomorrow... He always believes in what they tell him so I'm afraid he wont call until at least next week, unless I convince him LOL :P jeez, that supposed to be smooth after noa2 but there is still stress all over everywhere... freakin NVC...

just a heads up, my fiancée and I are also waiting for ours to get to Warsaw, we received our NOA2 April 27th, I've been calling every other day since the 11th of this month to give them two weeks, and only last Friday I received a different word that they received my file, but it is still in the mailroom, no case number has been provided yet and to try back sometime this week... So it may be good to give it a week or two before starting to call, I've seen some others from the previous months say that as well... Good Luck to you :D

I am so glad this group exists. Just knowing I'm not the only person going crazy over waiting for some papers. Honestly it's so crazy like a lot of you said before that this is what keeps us from being with our loved ones. And in the end it's just a paper that allows us to stay with them! 

I'm very fortunate on having spent the last 3 months with my loved one. After applying for the K1 I decided on flying to the USA and with the visa waiver program I was able to stay 3 month. But now it's our last week and leaving is even harder not knowing when to see him again. I'm not used to not being with him as we met when I lived in the US. This will be the longest time not being together. Not knowing how long it'll be is the worst part of it! So I'm really happy to have you guys and you all give me so much hope and also patience. Seeing you guys doing this helps me not being sad all day just because I'm scared of having to leave him  for a long time. Thank you all for being part of this VJ group and being there for each other!

 

And to Alex and Silvia Marie,

I'm from a small town in Saarland and I'll be living in Long Beach, CA hopefully by this fall. So not too far from you Alex. Where in San Diego exactly? I lived there for a year. I love that city! It's just amazing!

 

Does anyone have an idea how long it approximately takes after receiving the NOA 2? VJ says the Konsulat in Frankfurt takes another 60days. What do they do? And is that before or after the interview?

I got our Noa2 today!

Received date 2/2/2017

Approved 5/18/2017

 

Its been a very emotional last few weeks. I had just had a talk with myself over the weekend. The stress was starting to break me down. I had to tell myself to relax and calm down and not stalk this page, or the mailman. Then it came! Best of luck to everyone still waiting. I pray everyone gets approvals soon ♡
