Last night I checked the status on the USCIS website out of curiosity...even though we already have the NOA2 and got approved. I was just wondering if our status finally changed to approved since some days have passed. And guess what happened??

Account Locked

Your account has been locked for one of the following reasons:

  • Account inactivity.
  • Too many unsuccessful login attempts.

They probably just close the accounts after files got approved since they don't have anything to do with them anymore. I didn't even try to recover it because our file has moved to NVC...or at least is on its way.

What do you think about this? Do I still need my USCIS account for whatever reason or is this just the normal process after the approval of USCIS?

my NOA1 date is feb 1st

also can a US citizens let me know the avg cost of vaccines, trying to figure out if to just get them done by my general practitioner in my home country (Trinidad)

thanks in advance guys!!!! :) and congrats to all those who received thus far.... light at the end of the tunnel...

POlice check is valid differently in different countries, in Poland it is valid one year. You should ask in your local office or try to check online. Vaccines are expensive in USA and polish embassy recommend for all K1 Filers to make vaccines in Poland than USA. It will probably cost couple hundreds $ in USA so I would try to avoid that cost if possible.

Maybe they are preparing for changes... I have my own theory which I described on previous page. I think there will be small revolution in the system, maybe different case numbers or totally different tracker, maybe in the future they will require to login with the number and last name? So people wont be able to run scans? Those are only my private suspitions, time will show what they are trying to do.

I believe the medical and visa fee are it for me (not sure what affidavit fee is), then all the costs of traveling to both (if travel is necessary).  In the US there will be another fee for AOS soon after marriage (can't remember the exact cost but it's around $1200 I believe).

You will need to send those documents directly to your fiancée, as she will need to bring them to her interview.

Thanks... and yea the AOS is 1225. Just for clarity I am the beneficiary...

so so there are no ducments to send to the NVC? All they do is assign a case number and forward docs to the embassy?

Hello so great to stumble across another Trini. Not many of us here at all. First Thursday of every month, you can get vaccines free at the health centre here in Trinidad. I got Hep B, Chicken Pox, getting MMR and Flu next(they won't give you all the Vaccines together). Also I think if you go with letter from general practitioner they will give them to you on other days besides tgese Thursdays or as many as they can give you safely in one visit.

Correct. You don't have to send nothing, all paperwork must be brought to the Interview. You are paying only for medical exam and filling fee at this point. Soon as You will get your number from NVC You can schedule medical appointment, at least its like that here in Poland.

I am a March filer (beneficiary) so there is still some time for us to get NOA2. There is another couple @Nameless from January, you can follow who got their NOA2. Then you (hopefully soon) and then me. Don't know who else from Trinidad we will come across.
