Hi, does this mean the app is working? The case checker?

Not necessarily. It's being pretty random, with some people getting updates while most people don't.

Not necessarily.  I received NOA2 hardcopy this week and have yet to receive anything from the case checker, and the uscis.gov case information still shows case received.

January filer here... here is what some of know about the Case tracker.

Our NOA2 arrived (5/9) as a hard copy, but our status on Case Tracker has not changed. What people do see changing is those who get RFE seem to be tracked, although I am not sure about the RFE approvals. But, those who have sent their responses to their RFE for the most part are seeing status changes saying that their responses have been received.

There is a theory that the automation that was created to check against the USCIS has been blocked as it banged too hard on their system, or they don't care to be watched. Either way it appears to still not work for me as of an hour ago.

Hope that helps some.

Thank you for the info!

Just some humor while we wait. Pardon the misspelling

No news is good news I think!

Im getting updates and I know it's a rfe...I wish they would just put up what it is that's missing so we can get organised in the time waiting for it.

im quite worried as USA don't recognise our uk divorce decrees usually and I've put a letter from my lawyer stating that's a valid decree and I've highlighted areas and sent a letter of explanation along with it.

Best case scenario - they've lost my passport pics ! Ughhh I feel like I'm always waiting for something ! All I want to do is see my fiancé and it's 3.30am over here and I can't sleep.

It tough, I really understand. My fiancee and I had a fight today, mainly because of hangout chat miscommunications and a 6 hour time difference which is preventing us from spending time together. All of which would have never happened if she was here. We do well for the most part, but there are days when this ####### just stings. I was recently divorced, but it's the other way around. I have a USA divorce decree. I hope they like reading it and accept it. ;)

I really hope your RFE goes smoothly and you get to see your fiancee soon.

Thank you!

I know exactly how you feel...long distance is difficult.

its tone that can be misconstrued over text and the way we say things over here is so different to you guys!

Ive got an 8 hour Time difference between him and I! :(

i sound so stupid right now but it's the small things...not having to talk and just being with each other, the smiles we miss that we can't see over the phone etc

Even when I smell someone wearing his perfume I get slightly annoyed because it makes me miss him and only he is allowed to wear that perfume (in my world anyways!)

i hope you hear back soon! - it's so so stupid

Just stay strong, the best you can. Based on what I have seen from my data scans, it doesn't seem like many people get denied/blocked at this stage of the game. Rejections are all for improper fees/files/etc. Then there's RFEs and approvals, and the RFEs turn into approvals. Other than that, the only two status codes that make me think a person was denied are "Decision Notice Mailed" and "Notice Explaining USCIS' Action Was Mailed", and I only see a handful of those.

The main thing is the wait like you say, and it can be brutal.
