i am *thisclose* to doing exactly this right now. work has been sucking so much lately. =(

I work in a daycare and all the classrooms switch over for the new school year the beginning of September, so end of August just seemed natural (although I will still leave earlier if I can).  I am really hoping to have my visa by then but since I don't need a visitor visa, I will go and visit for a few weeks if my interview ends up being in September or October (worst case 😱😱😫😫).

I've told my boss at work I should be leaving in a few months,I'm gonna look really stupid ☹️😞😞 if I don't get my visa ☹️☹️😞😞

You will get it for sure!!! Seeing all the approvals lately, I really think they have been working hard!!!

I am staying pretty calm too! I just keep telling myself a lot of people go to at least 120 days without hearing back so I need to be calm, cool and collected for awhile yet haha

Maybe we all did so good there will be no RFEs for our dates and we won't know they touched it until we get NOA2s in the mail!

How many for Feb 13? I tried counting for the 14 and got about 190 but it was so small on my phone lol I could be way off!!

This week has made me feel so much more positive, it does take its toll though- this whole process!!

the approvals are getting me excited :)

So glad the pace is picking up!

Yeah, giving notice at work only when you have the visa in hand is a good plan. Because what if you go on AP for a looongg time or (knock on wood) you get denied?

That's what I was going to do but I was getting stressed with so much unknown and my boss was making it worse! So now that I have a set date in my mind, I find it's been really helpful in getting mentally prepared for everything.  Of course, its still in the back of my mind that something could go wrong, but we have a bona fide relationship, no criminal record and I'm from a low fraud country so I feel fairly confident every thing will be okay on the end.

My boss would take me back..... Thankfully!!!!!!! I would maybe just have to work at a different centre and a different shift.  I also babysit a lot too.  I am definitely not buying my plane ticket until I actually have the visa.
