Download one of the Case Tracker apps (or find you receipt number in the data scans done daily by fellow VJrs. Type in your receipt number and scan. It will tell you the case status. If it says Case was received, this means that nothing has been done on the case other than receiving it and logging it into the computer system. If it gives you a different status, this means it has been touched. It could be RFE, Approved, etc.

01/27/2017:     I-129F Mailed

02/01/2017:     NOA1 (Receipt Date: Feb 01; Notice Date: Feb 03)

05/17/2017:     NOA2 (Received May 22, USCIS still shows as received)

05/23/2017:     Case mailed from California to NVC

06/02/2017:     Case Number Received (I called) from NVC

06/09/2017:     Case Status: Ready in Guayaquil, Ecuador

If you have an account on uscis.gov you can see if there is an RFE, if you dont have an account you can set one up.

It looks like RFEs are getting updated but at this point I dont think we can say anything with much certainty.

All cases around mine got RFE and just me and one more number are right in the middle of around 30 RFE :P Thats funny :D

im sure that they worked on more cases but maybe they are trying to keep in until NVC will process some cases because right now maybe they have busy time there so they are focusing on RFEs? Because it will take some time to get responses on them? Hmm maybe that is the case. Im glad that they are working on my received day and other february cases ;)

That's amazing news honestly! I have been patiently waiting but I did not realize how slow USCIS has been with processing apps! The wait is the hardest part I think! They could be buying themselves some time with the RFE's not sure, but my NOA1 is about a week from yours so I'm seriously hoping they will touch our cases soon! 🙃

I think I found the answer to all the questions about processing and why there has been so few approvals!

I don't know if you had read the last comments on the January thread, but apparently people are getting NOA2 hardcopies in the mail without their cases being updated from Received to Approved in myUSCIS and apps.

So hopefully that means the theory about them having issues with their system is true and they have been consistently working these past days. Let's hope tonight's update has something to do with it and tracking starts working fine again.

Good luck to you all :)
