I counted (with a little help from Excel) 3598 cases total. 40 approved thus far. Leaving 3558 untouched.

Have cancelled / rejected cases been removed? 3558 seems a tad high...

Boo! The estimated date on my timeline is just creeping further and further away. It's gotten into June now :(

In the beginning when I first started the scan, I started with a total 3,714 Feb cases. The breakdown was:

Row Labels Count of Status
Case Was Received 3705
Date of Birth Was Updated 3
Name Was Updated 6
Grand Total 3714

I know that there are more Feb filers compared to Jan but don't have the original count for Jan anymore (will have to dig through past posts to find it now). Nov and Dec were higher (those months saw between 4,000-4,500 K1 petitions filed and received).

Last time I checked there were a handful of November cases left, about 300 December cases, and something like 1500 January cases. Their rate seem to be ~2-300 cases/day. So unless I'm way off we should at least start seeing February cases touched in a week. ...hopefully :)

Thanks for the update :)

 There's an interview with a guy that used to work at USCIS on VJ. If memory serves he said he'd have a check list of things to look for. So I don't think they waste time reading everything we send. They might read a lot if they feel the need but part from that.. :)

found it (it's a bit hidden), very interesting read: http://www.visajourney.com/content/adjudicator-q-and-a

Amazing read! Thank you for posting. I especially appreciated the sorry of the African refugee family whose member was  persecuted by the Rebels who cut off his hands. It's stories like this that makes me so GRATEFUL I have all my limbs and most of my freedoms in the US of A. Wonderful and insightful. Thank you.

Hi. I'm a January Filer and was not aware that there were more than 1,000 more cases filed in Feb.

Trying to remain positive as our case was received Jan 11th and its been 112 days now and we are still waiting on our NOA2 or something.

To give you a snap shot of USCIS progress for us Jan Filers as of 04/21

:

Total Cases File    = 3,622

Untouched Cases = 2137

Approved               = 703

Rejected                 = 471

RFE / REJ              = 198

Other                       = 113

Avg Cases touched per day = 145

I feel these are very difficult times especially since USCIS over the past week has only approved a few cases, we've been seeing a lot of RFE's.

I wish all of you a speedy NOA2, best advise if try keeping yourself busy with your work and being supportive of one another. Trust me you are all going to be tested when you see cases above and below yours being approved while your still waiting on your case to be touched.

All the best to all of you February filers for a speedy NOA2.

I'm hoping that we receive our NOA2 in the next week or so.

yeah, uscis seems to be on a stand-still these last few days. i was kind of hoping that since we are 5 days into may already, that there would be some uptick in the approvals for us feb filers. but sad to say that is not the case. thank you for the encouraging words. wish you luck this week with your noa2. have faith and exercise a lot of patience, it's rare that they will deny petition at this stage so at the end of the day, your approval WILL come!

Hey everyone. Stay strong and keep being positive. My fiancée just got approved but our situation was slightly different, we had to expedite due to my situation of being in the military and having to transfer sooner than expected. If you need any help do not hesitate to hit me up. The ride was tough but just follow the guidelines in the forums and you are set. The more information provided the better, it shows the counselors that you both are serious about each other. Photos help with evidence part as well. Good luck to everyone. Keep faith.

Hi everyone, I have been lurking on VJ for a while now and now I've finally decided to post a question that I have been wondering about. My question is...... Do you guys think that I can get my case expedited due to financial losses to me by...... I was recently accepted into pharmacy school and I need to have my fiance here before the fall semester starts because we still need to do our wedding and get situated and all that good stuff before I have to actually start classes. My fiance and I both know that I won't be able to work too many hours once school starts because I will need to focus more on classes especially since its Pharmacy. If things get delayed, then I won't know what to do.... do I focus on classes or do I work full time so that I can pay rent? (Currently I live with my parents) Having my fiance here beforehand will be very very helpful because that way we can help support each other until I'm done and we won't lose a lot of time and money. Also this may make me sound a little selfish but don't get me wrong. I love my fiance very much but I'm trying to look at the big picture here.

I hope this makes sense to everyone. What are your thoughts?

I appreciate what you guys have to say

Jan has 3,624 for the scan but its including the cases with "Rejected ..." for some reasons like incorrect fees, not correct filed, etc

And yes only 1 case touched means that something is going on, and not in a good way it seems. :/

I thought it will never happen to me as I am very patient and calm person, it's our 5'th year with my better half when we are in long distance relashionship, so we are "trained" in patience. But anxiety level is growing in me every day when I see that No cases were updated this week :( I tried to stay positive but this is just rediculus! I just wanna pack my stuff and go be with my loved one and never have to seperate No more :(

my one and only hope is that they are working on the approvals but have some problems with servers, maybe they are improving their system or sth... it happened once when @geowrian was doing the scans, there was No updates for about two days and than it was combo day with a lot of approvals. Let's just hope maybe they are normally working, and tomorrow or monday we will see thousands of approvals once they fix their system. (I need to believe in sth to not get more crazy)

Congratulations on your acceptance to pharmacy school! Honestly I don't think they will grant you an expidite for this reason. Going to school is your own choice and something that a lot of other filers go through. With that being said, there is no harm in applying to have your case expidited, as you will never truly know unless you try. Good luck!
