Did anyone see the scans in the Jan thread?  This seemed to be a really slow production day at CSC. Hopefully things pick up there today and really start getting into Feb files by the end of the week!!

Since we haven't seen the December scans yet, I wonder if they worked on a lot of RFEs from that month yesterday.  The more RFEs in front of you, the slower new cases will get touched I guess 😫

IMHO they could have sth like big group meeting in uscis yesterday, as it was first day of month, maybe some training or thing like that. No worries, I suspect that today there will be more cases touched. We are very close and I am sure that they will start touching our cases this or next week because they always did start touching new month when another month start :)

They came to agreement late last week.  No shutdown now...everything is good for the budget until the end of September now.

I am a February filer as well. I am an every day lurker of VJ particularly with this page. It makes me wonder why this thread only has 39 pages compared to March filers which has 83 pages and january 127 pages. Not that it's a big deal but probably there were lesser feb filers? or the month has fewer days? or could it be that coldest day of the year means less people wanting to go out and mail the form? or feb filers are just quiet? hmmm.

I wish everyone good luck!!!

I have travelled to the US on my travel visa 3 times since my fiancé has filed for me- all occasions I have stayed no longer than 10 days. No issues whatsoever. All institutions are independent of each other but if questions are asked PLEASE answer honestly. I was asked one time who am I visiting and I just said fiancé.

I also walked with a full copy of the package submitted by my fiancé just in case further questions were raised to prove I am doing it the legit way. Hope this helps and yes I was worried about taking the risk but it's solely based on the officer you get if he feels like you're coming into the US  and not leaving.

Government shut down was just avoided by congress & Mr. President as your great grandchildren have just been burdened with 1 Trillion dollars of debt to cover the current US expenses until September 30, 2017. It wasnt enough that we are in trillions $ of debt that we acquired since WWI, now just in less than 6 months, our great great grandchildren just inherited another 1 trillion. I want to run my household like the government is run: all on debt! Anybody feel like the government is out of control? but hey...at least USCIS is funded until Fiscal Year End 2017.  thumbs up for that! Stagflation and inflation coming your way. Thumbs down for that!

Not only did i do my part this year by paying taxes, I'm also contributing with these crazy USCIS and visa fees!

My fiance does have her travel visa, but we chose to go the route of the fiance visa to make sure we did everything by the book.  We received our NOA1 on 2/13/17, but this is taking much longer than we thought.  I know everyone else is in the same boat.  Does anyone know if it would be a bad idea for her to come visit for a week on her travel visa while her fiance visa application is in process?  Could that damage our chances of having it approved?

Last time I checked there were a handful of November cases left, about 300 December cases, and something like 1500 January cases. Their rate seem to be ~2-300 cases/day. So unless I'm way off we should at least start seeing February cases touched in a week. ...hopefully :)
