Ok this is a bit confusing lets get some more information.

So your GF is living/working in Taiwan and she had a medical there already and now she wants to schedule an interview at the US Embassy in Taiwan on the 25th of Sept but she won't have the medical until the 29th?

If I have this correct then she would have the interview and assuming she is approved they would just not release the visa/passport until after they get and review the Medical report. You state she will have the NBI clearance in hand prior to the interview date on the 25th. I see no problems with this other than the delay in issuance of visa while embassy waits for medical. I guess there is a chance the embassy will turn her away if no medical at Embassy at time of interview. If I were in her shoes (mine are 9.5 LOL) I would CALL the US Embassy in Taiwan if she hasn't already to see about scheduling an interview later in October. I'm not familiar with the US Embassy in Taiwan so don't know if you are scheduling on-line appointment but seems on they have Sept but no October. It may be that all the October slots have not been release yet.

When you have her call she can tell them her situation.

Hope this helps.

The medical was done on the 15th of September and results will not be ready until September 29th. Thanks for response.

Just when I thought it was going to be easy sailing.....haha...a new level of hell.

Wow, it has been long. I hope you get your appointment soon.

Do you guys have to schedule through ustraveldocs also?

I have been trying to schedule an interview in Algiers through ustraveldocs for a month and last night while looking at the site... September 25th popped up as open (but no appointments in October or November). So we have been trying to figure out if we should schedule for the 25th  (but he hasn't had the medical exam).

AP is finally done, and my Fiancé has the visa in his hands! So exited that this is almost over :D

He's coming to California on 9/29 and we're getting married on 10/6.

Best wishes to everyone still waiting for the NOA2's and interviews. Good luck!

Happy to hear!!! I've heard Montreal is slow if you have to submit documents after the fact, but looks like it wasn't too bad for you! Good luck with his move!

Good morning:

Just an update on our case. There are still no slots available for October in Taiwan I will call embassy to explain situation to see if fiancée can interview on 9/25 even though she would not have medical exam results in her hand until 9/29. I hope timeslots have not been open for October I really doubt that appointments are all taken but we will see what happens. If we are not able to get appointment by October 10 I would have to transfer case to Manila. Does anyone know if she would have to pay visa fee again as well as medical exam if case is transferred to Phillipines?

Unfortunately she needs her medical results at the interview. It's absolutely mandatory and they will not allow you to proceed to interview.

The results of the medical will will help determine if she's clear and healthy to travel to the US or if she needs further tests.

USCIS finally moved their K-1 timeline to March 1st and I'm finally able to submit an inquiry into why our application is over the normal processing time.  220 days today.  :(  We are so concerned it will not happen this year with my PTO expiring December 31st.  I will have to wait another four months to earn enough time off to visit the Philippines before we can get married unless my fiancé comes to US alone.  Was so wanting to go this year.

Congratulations to all that have already received their NOA2 and to those already with their loved ones.

Hopefully they will reply to your inquiry within two weeks  (btw....the status of my inquiry is the one thing that did update on the uscis status check). I have read things move quickly in the Philippines once you receive the NOA2. I truly believe by the end of the year is still possible.
