Hoping this is our week for those who are still waiting for NOA2!!!!!!!

This process is emotionally draining but seeing everyone support each other especially those who are still waiting since February or since RFE is keeping my spirits alive. My fiancé and I miss each other so much and knowing that we are not alone on that boat is somewhat a relief. And I mean this in a totally empathetic way.

They gotta respond to us by this month!!!!!

I received an email last night from the embassy to set up an interview. Can I enter in the information for my fiance and pay the fee or does she have to do it as the beneficiary? Should I select "

I have received a letter from the consular section with instructions to register or schedule a K visa appointment" as my choice and pay the fee?

Contacted them about 10 times and have also got state congress office to write them.  Still nothing.

This makes my blood boil. Inexcusable.

When you talk to tier 2 they would normally tell you you are within normal processing time which is clearly no longer the case so what excuse does Tier 2 give you now?

I would call every day twice a day no joke.

I'm really upset that you're still waiting for your NOA2. This is ridiculous. Are you outside processing time?? Have you spoken to Tier 2 recently? Ask for a service request. I hope the NOA2 just got lost in the mail or something!!

AOS Timeline: Camie (Beneficiary)

Dec 08, 2017:               Married!
June 23, 2018:             Filed AOS (we waited until our savings reached above poverty guideline since we both moved here from the PH with basically nothing)

Aug 20, 2018:              Biometrics (I asked to reschedule but USCIS never sent a new date, so I did walk-in.)
Nov 5, 2018:                Received RFE for I-864 joint sponsor

They still show the processing time of February 1st.  We got our NOA1 on February 10th.  Called and talked to a Tier1 on Thursday and she was nearly rude. Didn't want to ruin my weekend so I gave up. We are praying we get approved soon or that they move the processing date up so that we can start filing inquiries.  There are like 40 other filers in the same group of sequential numbers that have not been touched either.  Seems like everyone that has already received an FRE do get priority over those still pending. Frustrating to see that 40% of the April filers have already been processed leaving 20% for January, February and March.   Just a few a month get processed from previous months.  Not  sure how I ended up in the untouched pile.  About the only red flag I can imagine is our age difference.  Other than that it should be cut and dry.  We will see once we hear something.

Hi. Just me the worrier. I have recieved my i134 forms and evidence from my fiance and cosponsor in the mail, however my co sponsor has signed the form in blue ink. Typed in black and dated in black but just signed in blue. Will this be a huge problem? I heard London aren't too fussy with this. And I've heard it's not necessary to actually sign it anyway? I don't think i have time to get another one either. I hate to be picky and stuff but I'm just worried this tiny thing will be a problem. I'm hoping it's not going to be. Has anyone who went to London to get interviewed any any problems regarding this?

So I finally received my case number from NVC and I went online today to check the status and it says at NVC. How long does it take to send to the embassy ?

I was able to pick the time and pay the fee for my fiance and he is the beneficiary.  The wording on your site is different but ours said to choose “I need to schedule a K visa ( fiancee or spouse/child) appointment” and then we completed registration and paid the fee.  So, I would guess that's the right option for you.

I don't think they're going to look too closely at the color of the ink in London.  From what my fiance said at the first window they just ask for and skim the documents to make sure everything is there that's needed to pass along.  I'm sure they're not going to make a fuss over the ink color of the signature on one page.

There's no standard time for this but probably sometime in the next 5-10 days it will change from At NVC to In Transit to Ready.

You can start the DS160 now and save it and not Submit it until it says Ready or you can wait until it says Ready and then do it.  Your embassy should have a web page that talks about the steps in the K1 process and setting up the interview.

Okay...going to show my age a bit....

I signed everything I have submitted in blue....the idea is....blue ink wasn't available on printers or copiers  (I know....long time ago :P) A long time ago, to prove it was an original, everyone signed everything in blue. They won't care.

Every thing is good.

Wishing you the best.

As Janet mentioned, blue ink is the "standard" signature ink color. My boss is a former attorney and she always signs everything in blue. You're fine :)
