Yep, because 5 deals with electronic cases, that sometimes people in 7 can't see.

We called 5 first time and they told us not to call there again, probably because they knew my country doesn't do electronic cases, but it was good to at least know that :)

Thank you! I believe the Philippines does electronic cases. I'll try again.

I had my medical in Toronto yesterday. One step closer! :)

I literally spoke to the doctor for, 1 minute maybe? Then x-ray/blood/urine tests and done.

Wishing the remaining Feb filers who are still waiting on their NOA2 good luck

When you said "if they dont have it, call again" do you mean if NVC claims to not have our case, we should try asking a different section (dialing 5)? :)

NVC confusion over electronic cases.  One division doesn't see the others work.  Ur PH as I am, i called using option 7 and it was correct for our case

I think they are because our case went from In Transit to Ready overnight.  I doubt that the US Government paid for overnight shipping to get our case to London :D

Hey y'all- I thought I'd update everyone on our journey. My girlfriend had her interview at the Rio de Janeiro embassy this morning and she was approved. It's all finally over!! We are so relieved. I leave the US on December 01 and we return back together to start our lives together on December 23. We are thrilled and so very excited about our lives beginning together. Over all from start to finish, the process took 6 months and a few days. We look forward to making a life time of memories together. We know there will be good and bad times but we are ready to embrace every season of life. Wish I was going sooner to be with her but the count down is on... 3 months is nothing compared to a lifetime together so I'm not sweating it. The process was so much smoother than what I thought it would be. Looking back it hasn't been tough at all and I thank God for a smooth and easy process. Everyone be blessed

It took 10 calendar days for our case to go from NVC received to Ready but I think that was a little long because it overlapped 2 weekends.  Plus, it went from In Transit on Sunday to Ready on Monday.

Have you tried calling both options, 7 and 5, at the immigrant line? For some reason, sometimes people with an electronic case can't get any information unless they call option 5.

But also, yes, some cases seem to take longer than others for some mysterious reason

Hi all !

I have a question,

Once the visa is recieved along with the packet,

is the packet handed to the immigration officer at the airport of Port of entry ?

Meaning, the person can travel to the U.S in airplane right ?

They do not have to travel through land ?

I've had several people tell me that k visa holders had to travel through land .... which i am not so sure about.

Definitely can travel by airplane. I'm from England and it would take me aaaaages to travel by land/sea/land 🤗😂😜

I had more success with the non immigrant line.....and I called every day (because I am obsessive compulsive like that....and was proud of myself for only calling once a day :D

They will give you some "six weeks" song and dance....keep calling.
