London interview question.

I'm trying to book interview online and it's only given me one date option. I can't do that date. I thought it would give me more options?

Help please. I'm confused with this. I assumed we could choose our date. Its only given me one option

That usually means there are no other dates available for an interview for that month,

Some people have just checked back later in the day and they have found more days available due to cancellations.

I dont know if this is true for all embassies though. This is just what i know in general.

Good Luck!

You guys are so lucky to receive your approval notices and also most of you are at the interview stage. I am truly happy for you guys! Hoping for the same for my fiancé and I.

Our receipt is dated for February 6th. Received RFE in May. Sent in everything within three weeks by June 6th but the USIC website didn't update our status to received response to RFE until by July 17. Has this happened to any others who are part of this forum/process?

Just a few days ago I called the customer service line and requested when I will receive a decision, they said within the 60 days so 19 days more to go and let's see what happens. Are there any going through the same ordeal? What happened to your case after it went over 60 days? What did you do? On a side note I am getting this done through a lawyer.. to be honest I've learned from reading people's experiences on here and regret not doing the process on our own but I am thinking a lawyer might be necessary in case our case exceeds 60 days. I appreciate any thoughts and/or advice for those who went through something similar to our experience. The wait is tough but my fiancé and I are just looking forward to the day we can finally start our life.

Apparently some airports have taxes and fees. Keep that in mind y'all. And do your research to prevent an unfortunate circumstance from keeping your loved ones from leaving their country to America.

Me too.....I called and talked to a tier two officer, absolutely no help, he said my case had not been assigned to adjudication.... so more crying, depression  and hurry up and wait......my only solace is that it looks like they are getting to the end of Feb.

Will bee 200 days for us on Monday.  About to give up hope.

Im hoping they release more dates because I can't make it down on that date. I think I'm going to call them after the bank holiday weekend and find out. Surely they can't just have one day left in that month. 😕😕

Thank you!! :D

From what I've seen they advise to wait 14 days after approval, i have another week to wait before we'll start calling. Cant wait to get the ball rolling!

Congratulations!!!

I know people have asked this before but how many days should I wait before I call the nvc? It has been 10 days since my approval.

NVC got mine in 10 days.  Apparently a large batch arrived on 8/24 - on a fluke I called on 8/25 and they gave me the number.

Call just after 7am tomorrow or another strategy is about 11pm (after days work is done I presume).

(603) 334-0700

I hit 1 english and 7  If they don't have it, call again and do 1 and 5

Expeditious luck to u :D

Back when I booked I was able to choose the date but I don't remember how.  I feel like I clicked on the calendar icon and it showed all the dates that were available.  I think that there maybe was an option that was either "first available date" or "let me choose my date" but I could be remembering totally wrong, it's been awhile since we booked.  The last I checked there were about 10 days in September that had openings still but I can't check that now since my fiance's interview has passed.  You also have the option of changing your appointment after you book on the same website.  So, if you can't seem to find a way to choose a different day now, you could maybe choose the date that doesn't work and then reschedule it after you complete the process.

Just the beneficiary....

They already have the background on the petitioner  (and I have read you can petition someone even if you are in prison.....)

PS: if you are in prison for a non violent crime that doesn't include children or drugs....
