Curious to know if your online USCIS status shows pending or approved?  Might give us a little hope that ours may have also been approved and just not yet updated on their website.

Fresh news from Interview- my visa was approved  it went very smooth, took 2 hours in the embassy. If anyone want I can describe step by step how it was. Im so happy and relieved  now time to go home!

Nope, I just checked and it hasn't been updated to approved. Lets hope yours is on the way too!!

Lets hope they are mopping up the remaining Feb Filers, try and call again and see what they say as its been a while since you called and they told you they were doing the background check. I'm rooting for you!

This may be a stupid question (but we are making up for lost time and a terrible immigration lawyer) where do you get or find your receipt number for the USCIS website in order to view your status?

 

Having to play major catch up since the lawyer left us in a lurch.
