I just checked my informed delivery and I have a letter from USCIS. Not sure if it's good news or bad yet. I can see part of it next to my address that has a "No" and below it a "V". I'm hoping it's a noa2 after 199 days. It's going to drive me crazy until I can check the mail.

Sending good vibes for a better luck this time, after that fail where you got two letters the same day and it wasn't what you were expecting.

Waiting to read the good news *fingers crossed*

So stressed out! My fiancé had his k1 interview at USE Jakarta! He was one of the last interviews, it was the day before their holiday, the interview was rushed, the CO didn't even look at the affidavit of support, just asked my fiancé one question about me then asked my fiancé about a previous application he put in 2010 to come to the US. Returned his passport, kept the originals to all his documents, then gave him a white slip 221G and checked off administrative processing. Told my fiancé they would call or email him. I am pregnant due in October and very very stressed. I've called multiple times to speak to someone but because of the holiday and communication barrier it has been difficult. I don't know if I should travel to Jakarta and go to the embassy. Any advice???

I know that it's hard for u to do right now but u need to try to find some way to focus your energies on something positive for the sake of the baby.

i was put in admin processing for 4 weeks after the interview and got my visa issued thereafter- I will recommend giving it 2 months... which is what they said is the time frame before they really 'have to' give an explanation. At this point contacting the embassy is pointless if he was placed on admin processing, they will just be doing a background check and once all is fine they will ask him to send in the passport.. I know how u feel I was there and the mental pressure I was under, if u are goin through anything similar to me it's not good for the baby... so try to be patient and just keep each other occupied as much as possible until the good news come.

Correct! Actually you can start working on it already if you want to, but wait to submit it until it's ready at the Embassy :)

I am sorry to hear about it. I hope everything will turn out to be good for you and your fiance. For the moment, I think you must wait until Monday to find it out. I have read on someone's blog post who tried to contact U.S embassy in Jakarta by phone. They advised her to send email instead of making phone call. And she always got the fast response after sending email. So, if you need to ask about what was everything, maybe it's better to ask Jakarta embassy by email.

I don't want to get your hopes up but I just pulled my NOA2 to check what you said you saw.  To the right of my address on mine the first line says Notice Type: Approval Notice and the next line says Valid from 06/09/2017 to 10/08/2017.  This could be the same No and V that you can see on your informed delivery.  I would guess it's your approval based on what you see.  *fingers crossed*

My fiancee did not have to sign for hers. That was a bit scary for me BTW, but they did leave in in a secured mailbox of sorts where she lives. :)

On this note, can anyone comment on the following claim made by US Embassy (London) on the home delivery by mail of an approved K-1 visa? The delivery confirmation page generated by the embassy states: "Tracking information will be sent to the following mobile number..."

Does anyone know if this feature actually works, if the foreign fiance(e) did receive package tracking info from their embassy by cell phone, and if so was it by text message or phone call? Given the history of these failed notification services we're skeptical.

We are elated to have been approved yesterday and are certainly hoping for a successful first visa delivery attempt. Our thoughts are with you all out there!

Thank you!
