Im at day 163 and I don't know about you guys but I'm tired of waiting for my noa2. I'm starting to blame our new president if that's the reason why everything is going so slow.

There are still lots of Feb filers are still waiting for their NOA2, it's confusing and stressing when it will come. I'm one of you guys since Feb.20 from NOA1 but hang on, keep praying it will come! Who knows it might be on our mail one of this coming days.😊

I need help with the steps after NOA2. I know I need my case number from NVC. Once I receive this they will eventually send it to the embassy?? Than I wait for packet 3 which will be sent to my fiancé and than we schedule the medical exam / interview ???

has anyone had any experience with the US embassy in Sydney?

we received our NOA2 on 5/30, stating that it would be "expedited". filled out a DS-160 since 7/15. paid the visa fee since 7/23, but NO PACKET 3 or interview schedule yet!lol

according to our NOA2 our approval notice expires on 9/29/17 so I wonder what happens next after that?!

It's embassy specific. In many countries you can schedule the medical once you have the case number from NVC. You should check your embassy website.

Successful POE. Toto and Minky together again. Today starts day two of forever 

 

 

I will post some real wedding pictures of us in a couple weeks if they turn out ok. My fiancee made the image above and I thought it was cute.

USCIS bumped up the processing date to February 1st.  Some glimmer of hope of having our cases processed soon.  👍

This post actually made me tear up!! I am so. happy. for you! The feeling must be so surreal. Congratulations and I can't wait to see some wedding pictures. My regards to your beloved fiancee! And yes, the picture is adorable!!

You're welcome and here is a simple or the email that you and your fiancé should send the embassy. As soon as it says ready, tell you fiancé to fill out the ds 160 and submit it and then keep emailing the embassy (both of you) with a some kind of this email until they schedule your interview. This is what me and my fiancé did. And at the end it was my fiancé who reveived the email with the scheduled interview date. In Tunisia, we pay the visa fees at the embassy. I don't know whether it is the same case in Algeria or not. I think it is better to pay cash at the embassy. It is safer and less complicated.

It's common that the petitioner gets an email from the Embassy so they have to forward it to the beneficiary. Some other times, Embassy calls the beneficiary asking for their email, since they do have beneficiary's phone number as it was stated in the petition. Other times it comes by snail mail, and they do have the address in the petition too.

 

What I plan on doing, if they don't contact me in a couple of days after I see the case is ready on the ceac website, is emailing them myself with my complete contact information, letting them know I'm ready myself.
