Good luck! Please let us know what will they can do to your case. I'm also waiting for they response for more than a month after they received our rfe response.

Ok I will !! I am on day 63 since they received mine. So I think it's time to seek other help such as the congressman

Congrats! Nice to see they are moving fast for you know :)

Yes, you have to check under Immigrant and the six steps message is just a generic one that doesn't apply for K1's.

So next thing should be the Embassy contacting you, but you can also email them once the case shows in the ceac website as "Ready" to provide them with your contact (specially email because I've been told that's what they use now) and let them know you are ready yourself.

Best of luck! :)

Thanks so much!!!

We would email the embassy then! :)

I would definitely recommend emailing or calling the embassy as soon as it says "ready". We made the mistake of waiting for them to email us and ended up wasting time. Also, check the VJ page for your embassy for info. Looking at the forum for your country might help, too.

Thanks a lot!!

I'm on day 53 and I can't believe you're 10 days ahead of me and still haven't received the response. This is ridiculous. My problem is neither my fiancé or I are in the US so we don't have a congressman to contact about this! All we have is the USCIS tier 2, but even then they've already sent an email to CSC asking for an update but we still have to way 15-20 days for a response to that too.

Hi there,

My fiance and I received a letter on June 9 saying the NVC had received our I-129F petition and was forwarding it to the embassy in London. However, we haven't heard anything since. Is this normal? It seems like some of you who filed at similar times have already gone in for your interviews, so how did the embassy contact you? When I checked the CEAC website today, it said our case was "Ready." Can we schedule our interview now or do we need to wait? Any help or advice is greatly appreciated!

If whoever answered me doesn't accept my request to speak to tier 2, I call back again and i always get someone different. Usually other operators are nicer and will accept your request to speak to tier 2, just ask nicely! There was a time I said I already was in line to speak to tier 2 the day before but never got a call back when they said they would, and the operator put me through to tier 2! Give it a try again :)

wow june 9th is a long time ago. if the CEAC website says ready you are supposed to submit the ds-160 form, pay the visa fee and contact your country's embassy to schedule the interview.

Yes, you might not hear anything from the Embassy.  Some people receive what's called "Packet 3" from the Embassy, some don't.  If you don't, you can find the information on how to proceed here since your status on CEAC already says Ready:

https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/fiancee-2/applying-for-a-fiancee-visa-instructions/

Sorry that you had such a delay in waiting, you could have probably had your medical and interview already by now.
