Hi @miadugas902 !, I am so happy there's someone from Indonesia who just posted a comment. We just got Noa2, i need more info about the next steps to do for Indonesia beneficiary. I will send you message. Thank you in advance.

Hi @JloveN, me too, nice to meet people from Indonesia here. About a month or so after 2nd NOA my fiance got an email from the embassy that they received the package from the NVC (we supposed to get a letter from the NVC but we never got it until now lol), and the next day i got an email from the embassy and told me to prepare all the document include the medical examination (they write you all the docs thay you need include the hospital for med exam), next doc is you have to bring the original form affidavit from your fiance (copy of 2016 tax return 1040 & W2), and then you pay the visa fee and when the docs all together you can email the embassy to make an appointment, they will reply your email and give you the interview date, you ll treated as an immigrant.

My fiance is here, so at the same day and the same time in the same room as my interview section, we also have to pick up our son's US passport and US birth certificate there, so we came together with different appointment, after we finish in passport section we waited my turn got an interview.

Interview : i just got few question, who is my fiance name (and the interviewer saw my fiance sit there, and he asked me "is he your fiance ? I said yes), next question do i have a child, how many time your fiance came to indonesia, where we met, is he married before, am i married before, and after that he wants to speak with my fiance, and then the rest of that he talked to my fiance about what is our plan in future and also they talk about tax and my fiance job. Thats it and we got it. No difficult question, and it just took 10 minutes or so.

Hello! You're January filer. Look likes you waited for so long. I know how frustrating to wait for NOA2. But don't worry it's on the way

It seems like a lot of the February filers that received a RFE are still waiting ...... ugh

I think I am just going to call them back after 6 weeks from the date of the approval.  Look like USCIS is still holding on to some of these cases. maybe they don't want to let us go :-).

Does anyone have experience talking to a tier 2 supervisor and being successful in having them submit a inquiry about your case even though technically since they put the processing time back to January  1st it isn't over the time frame ? They received my case February 10, received my RFE June 6th and nothing since. I called uscis last week and they were no help. Just told me I had to wait. Helpppp

Always start on the web page for the Embassy you are going to process through. They have all the information necessary for your next steps. Also, I know a lot of folks here want to help but they are in the same situation that you are asking about. Best find the subforum for your country and ask your questions from those folks. After all, there some that are ahead of you and they are the ones who can tell you what it's like to have "boots on the ground" for the process you desire. Just saying.

We called today for the first time to the NVC, they received our case, we now have a case number and a Invoice ID number. The lady told us our file is ready to be sent to the Madrid Embassy! We are in sock!! that was soooo fast! Specially compared to our NOA2 nightmare.

So now what??????

In the ceac tracker, only reconice my case number by selecting inmigrant visa, is that ok??

Then says: "Please follow the instructions you received from the National Visa Center (NVC) that list the six steps you must take before NVC can schedule your visa interview appointment."

But the lady told us, we should wait to hear from the Embassy and we have not received anything from the NVC

I was not expecting this to go so fast! Now i'm freaking out!! :jest:

Congrats! Nice to see they are moving fast for you know :)

Yes, you have to check under Immigrant and the six steps message is just a generic one that doesn't apply for K1's.

So next thing should be the Embassy contacting you, but you can also email them once the case shows in the ceac website as "Ready" to provide them with your contact (specially email because I've been told that's what they use now) and let them know you are ready yourself.

Best of luck! :)
