My case number from NVC was MTLxxxxxxxxxx but now that it shows as READY on the CEAC tracker it has a 01 MTL after it so it is now MTLxxxxxxxxxx 01 MTL. Does that mean anything and do I have to put the 01 MTL on the Packet 3 checklist when I send it in, where I fill out the case number? @PR&PR@eastcoastgroove@calahjosh931

I just checked, mine has that now, but I'm not sure at what point it appeared.  In any case, I did not add that anywhere so I would just ignore it if I were you.  No idea what it means!! And for your other question, yes it's just a Color photocopy of your passport page that has your picture and information.

This is the happiest moment I have ever experienced in my entire life.

For those that still are waiting, stay strong. There is no greater thing in life than to share each moment with the one you love.

Congrats!🎈

I had to post this because I am truly in shock.

I just spoke to a woman (Amy) at NVC and she was friendly and didn't quote processing times to me...

And get this....actually said  "call back anytime, it's what we are here for"

I'm serious....I may actually cry.

For everyone still stuck at USCIS....I am praying for you guys....you are in my thoughts. I look forward to seeing you all get the NOA2.

Yes, after USCIS, everyone is super nice and things move at a normal pace. I think there is some corruption going on at USCIS.

Not sure if this actually applies to what I was saying and seems to be more like Trump publicity. I was referring to the countless times they lied to me on the phone and the months they kept me in the dark, even though I had real data that contradicted their excuses. Then, they seemed to have intentionally broken the online checker. Hmm, I wonder why? :)

You can submit it, in hope it's actually ready.... But probably it won't be 😑.  A reminder of my timeline at the Montreal embassy so far: June 29- ready- sent packet 3.  July 6 (but there was 2 holidays here)- received an email saying they were processing my case and would notify me when they were done.  I can't remember but my case updated the date about 4-5 times (I think the 6, 12, 17, 18).  I just kept resending packet 3 every time the date changed.  Finally I got packet 4 on the 19th.  I still haven't physically gotten packet 3 in the mail yet but my fiance got a letter about it yesterday and he said it was dated the 18 (so that's the date they were actually ready for me... 2 1/2 weeks after it first said ready).  Hopefully you will get through faster!!

Ok our case changed to READY on 07/27, and then again 07/31, and I've just now sent Packet 3 in, 08/01. So did you get an email each time you sent it, saying they were processing your case?

Thank you!

I am hoping that the interview will be at the end of September  (but in reality it will probably be October)....I'm still at the NVC stage so really I have no idea :)

I'm worried about approval so I wouldn't miss this interview for anything...come hell or high water.....(sorry....I can't pass up an opportunity to throw some southern sayin in every once in a while :D)

I am so very excited for you. I'm sure it will go smoothly :)

Thanks and sounds like a good plan on your end!  I'm sure you'll be moving out of NVC soon and will be able to get the next steps scheduled.  I'm excited for you, and all of us, to make it through this process and put all of this waiting behind us.

And it's always nice to "hear" some southern sayin  :D

Hi, I only received one email from them (a week after it first changed to ready).  Otherwise, they just ignored me. Just watch the tracker and send it every time the date updates and eventually, it will be the time they actually send packet 3 and you will get packet 4 back!!

The embassy in Delhi received our petition on July 20th and he still hasn't received anything. I tried calling the embassy last night and that was totally unhelpful. I know there were others here who didn't wait for packet 4 to schedule their appointments. I wish I knew if he absolutely had to wait or if he could schedule it all now. I am tired of waiting... (no offense to those still waiting for their NOA2).

We have a tentative wedding date of October 28th. He needs to give a month's notice at work... I really hope the ball starts rolling faster for us :(

Did you go into the India subgroup and ask there? I know for me, asking.certsin directed at those doing the process for Mexico helped on certain things. Despite it being one of the busiest countries in terms of visa types, the subforum incredibly slow and mostly I get two responses or nothing.

Goooooooooood luck!!!!!

Hi guys, my interview is tomorrow at 1pm. i called the hospital and they told me to come before 12pm. They didn't give much info about the medical reports or if something is wrong. I'm hoping the reports are ready and nothing is wrong. Meanwhile, I have all the documents, evidence of our relationship and photos and everything organized to present at the interview. I am freaking out that if my medical is not ready, i will get denied. This is all Justin and I have been waiting for. I hope all goes well. Any tips, advice is appreciated. Please please please pray for me, pray for us. Thanks and I Love you guys. This community has been so supportive and encouraging. I'm grateful for all of your support.

I understand your worry but it's possible the hospital just wants you to arrive with enough time to get there, wait a bit, and then get the reports before having to go for the interview.  If there are any delays with the medical, you might still be able to have the interview.  I know for the London embassy, if they have not received the medical results by the time of the interview, they will put the case under 221g until the medical results are received.  So, even if there is a delay, you might still be able to go ahead with the interview and just wait until they finish the results.

Try to keep positive and know that you are about to jump over the final hurdle.  As long as you show them that you have all documentation, and that your ready to be married, then I'm sure you will be approved.  I'm know it's difficult but try to remain calm, take your time to answer the questions, and everything will be fine.
