My case number from NVC was MTLxxxxxxxxxx but now that it shows as READY on the CEAC tracker it has a 01 MTL after it so it is now MTLxxxxxxxxxx 01 MTL. Does that mean anything and do I have to put the 01 MTL on the Packet 3 checklist when I send it in, where I fill out the case number? @PR&PR@eastcoastgroove@calahjosh931

For Packet 3 - "color-scanned copy of the biographic data page of the applicant's passport" - this is the passport of the beneficiary, correct? Not the petitioner?

Thanks! I hope the time flies for you like it did for us in the post-uscis phase. :)

I wish! But with approval June 9th...and Medical/Biometrics/Interview not until August 28/29/30th respectively, the clock could not be going any slower. Everything is done and printed. It's just a waiting game.

I never had to use those additional numbers/letters in anything that had to be done. Nor when I called the Consulate with questions.

Yes the passport of the Canadian citizen. And as for the MTL # I believe you leave the 01 out. Mine was always MTL xxxxxxxxxx (10 digits).

Thank you!  I'm sure everything will go fine and he'll get approved but, as I'm sure we've all experienced going through this process, there is always that little voice in the back of your head that thinks about not being approved.  I'm trying to stay focused on the positive, and that he'll more than likely get approved, and our future together.  I'm certainly looking forward to being back in London, seeing him again, and not having to say goodbye this time but instead "Hey, come on this flight with me home".  :)

I hope you have a great time back with your fiance too!  Any idea on when you might try to go?

Thank you!

I am hoping that the interview will be at the end of September  (but in reality it will probably be October)....I'm still at the NVC stage so really I have no idea :)

I'm worried about approval so I wouldn't miss this interview for anything...come hell or high water.....(sorry....I can't pass up an opportunity to throw some southern sayin in every once in a while :D)

I am so very excited for you. I'm sure it will go smoothly :)

Canadian applicants - I just scheduled my interview for sept 6 as this was the earliest date possible. Is there a way to check the calendar to see if earlier dates open up? I was afraid to click reschedule in case it cancelled my appointment and only later dates were available! Thanks

I had to post this because I am truly in shock.

I just spoke to a woman (Amy) at NVC and she was friendly and didn't quote processing times to me...

And get this....actually said  "call back anytime, it's what we are here for"

I'm serious....I may actually cry.

For everyone still stuck at USCIS....I am praying for you guys....you are in my thoughts. I look forward to seeing you all get the NOA2.

Lol, nice to hear for a change, right? :)
