On my way to the mailbox today I tried to remind myself not to worry, not to be upset....that it would be here sooner or later. That the NOA2 did in fact exist and I would sooner or later receive mine  (because almost everyone will). I have to admit....it gets harder to convince myself day after day after day.

I opened the mailbox and grabbed the usual daily mail....pizza coupons and catalogs....and there it was. The Department of Homeland Security. The coupons and catalogs fell to the ground as I ripped opened the letter.....

Approved y'all. 169 days and today I received my NOA2.

Approved

OHHH

SO HAPPY FOR YOU!! FINALLY!!!!

Time to celebrate!!!

Thanks for your detailed explanation!!! According to VJ information, it does sent Packet 3 and 4. But the information might be dated.

This is the instruction for Auckland Consulate: https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/iv-dv-supplemental/ACK - Auckland.pdf

To schedule medical, I need to bring the following according to the above PDF. I just do not have my visa interview appointment letter. That is why I am waiting.

 Your visa interview appointment letter,

 Your passport,

 Two (2) recently taken passport-sized color photographs,

 A copy of your immunization records, and

 A copy of the medical exam form that can be found at the end of this document.

But for the actual interview, it says:

A copy of your NVC interview letter (does not apply to Diversity Visa, fiancé(e), adoptive, or asylee/refugee applicants)

So I am just not sure if I will get a interview letter or not. This is soooo confusing... If not, I would like to schedule my medical at least...

yeah, that is tricky indeed. do you know which medical center / hospital you are supposed to do your medical tests at? if so, give them a quick call, im sure they can clarify for you what they mean with the "visa appointment letter".

but if it helps, for my medical, the hospital just looked for the printout of the interview appointment confirmation. this was what they meant when they said i needed to bring my "visa interview appointment letter". once you have scheduled your interview on the online booking system, the last page is this confirmation page which you can easily print out from within the browser (or you can email it to yourself too if you prefer to print it later.)

My VJ Timeline said that my case will be adjudicated between July 20-26. How accurate is this? I can't wait to get an update from USCIS.

Hey quick question.

You don't need the hep injections for the London medical, do you? I'm 99percent sure you don't but just want to make 100 percent sure.

Ps I've had my mmr, tdap, TB jab from school, and the other ones you get as a baby. It's not flu season yet so i haven't recieved that as I plan on having my medical before October :)

Also. Do you need to have had your interview at the embassy booked by the time you attend your medical?

during my medical, the doctor did not ask if i have had hep vaccines before nor was i prescribed to get it. so i don't think hep is required (but others can correct me if im wrong.)

edit: fyi this if for UAE medical. just wanted to note this even though i think the required vaccines list remain the same regardless where you do your medical.

yup, finally got to that #7....thanks.  Now if they can just get on the ball.  129 approved, physical exam passed, and interview passed, just they didnt have all of that together the day of her interview.  A little unfair, but we all have stories.  So i wait.

I've never had a hep injection and the nurse dealing with the vaccinations in London said I was all "All up to date" for the Adjustment of Status application. So it doesn't seem like it's necessary, at least not at this stage. (Might be for AoS, I do not know).

If I'm not misremembering thigns; You need to have your medical booked to book the interview. So medical needs to be booked first.

Which means there's no way for you to have the interview appointment at that point in time.

I found this helpful: https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/fiancee-2/applying-for-the-visa/

Good luck
