I'm only in Australia on a working holiday visa so I am cannot stay past September and I have an employment contract/flight to return.

 

as for taxes, since I am not permanently staying in Australia nor will I be here for one full year, I was required to pay taxes on my foreign income.  If im requires to pay taxes, it should count towards my income. Seems silly that it wouldn't

If u have the w2 and 1040 for the previous year as well I'd advise you put it in the package as well. My fiancé switched jobs last year so the figures on the forms didn't match so they asked me about it so I explained.

So from my experience I will advise anyone to avoid the question and just have the documentation.

Good evening everyone just giving you guys a heads up on our case, so i went to Panama on Thursday morning and got to our interview right in time with my fiancee and her daughter. I am glad the let me in with them to the interview and her process was super quick and simple.

 

Step 1 : she gave documents they requested (i-134/2016 W2/ProofOfRelationship*PICTURES* EMAILS* PLANE TICKETS*) then she was asked to be seated until they called for her interview.

Step 2 : they called her name up to the window and he asked my fiancee and her daughter how they where, then he asked IF I THE PETITIONER WAS THERE ALSO - she replied YES and pointed at me.

Questions asked : What is your petitioners name?

                            : What State does he live in?

 

He then told them both to put their right hands up and say they swear all info the that giving was the truth and he said " Your Visa is APPROVED!!!!!"

 

So basically now we are just waiting for the Passports with the Visas to be delivered with the Sealed Envelope.  

 

it was super quick and simple for us thank God!!

So, here is my update. 
We called USCIS Friday, they told us our case has been adjudicated and we should wait for a response. 
We tried to get any more info, but there was no way... 
We also received the answer from our congressman (finally!) with more of the same. Good at least to know that the Background Check is completed! 

 

Thank you for your inquiry, relating to the I-129F petition, receipt number WACXXXXXXXXX, filed with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) by MS. The Background Checks have been completed and this case is being returned to the adjudications unit. Your constituent should receive a notice of action in the next 45 days. If no notice has been received in that time frame, please contact us and we can follow up on the progress of the case. 
We hope the information provided is helpful.  If we may be of assistance in the future, please let us know.

 

We are worry now, that we'll can receive at the end of August a REF...

Ah i really hope it isn't a RFE, you've waited so long! .... IF it is a RFE the letter should get to you really quick, when we found out we had an one via the app updating us, the letter reached us within 5 days and we sent it back the day after we got it and they updated us that they got it 3 days after we sent it, so really really quick turnaround. I have my fingers crossed that it's an approval on it's way to you!

It's the vaccines record and we are going to need it for AOS later on, so we don't have to pay for another medical just for them to fill in it while in the States. So yep, you should make sure they provide you with one at the medical prior to the interview

Hello, guys,

 

How are you all? Sorry, I wasn't on VJ for a couple of weeks. The embassy took a couple of weeks to process our case and it was so frustrating. It was too difficult because we already had travel plans in our mind. The embassy caused a slight delay in our plans and they were like we are sorry. That's it. But, otherwise, they have been really helpful and assisting. So we just waited because there was nothing much we could do. 

 

So after a loooot of waiting, today, I finally got an interview date! It's on the August 03rd! (Next week Thursday). I have my medical scheduled at 9am tomorrow. We are moving forward and are really excited. 

 

I hope every one is doing well. We started this process on February 14th and it still isn't over yet for everyone of us. But, I promise no matter how long you have to wait, the waiting won't last forever. Stay strong and stay positive. Sending love and hugs to everyone! <3

Aww...they gave me one but there's no a subject of ds3025 on it,is that form calls ds3025 but just not mention on the paper?
